Children of those hewn down

In D&C 45:57, the second coming is partially defined. It says people who do not use The Spirit to guide them and are deceived will be:

1. Burned
2. Hewn down

What do you think God will do with the children of those people?

Will he burn and chop them up too?

Will he let them roam aimlessly as orphans?

Why don't the apocalyptic prophets address this? Is it a useless detail?

Choices:

A) You think too much, silly!

B) Hello, ever read the Old Testament?

C) Our ways are not God's ways.

D) Put it on the shelf, baby.

Yeah, I'm getting "A" from people I've asked so far. They act like this is not something we should worry about. Why the hell not? What is the worth of a child? My 2-yr old got stitches today. It was hard for me to watch him in pain. And that was just one cut.

Parents die all the time. What does God do with their children?

But those parents now are dying only rarely from accidents and natural causes. The OP's point was that God would be doing the "hewing" and burning.

Damn you are daft Bcspace.

So God is damning them to hell? What is your basis for that?

Yet looking at what God does in those cases may be the only way to deduce what God would do in the other cases. Simple logic and rationality actually.

I've always wondered what would happen when all the spirit children have come to earth and gotten bodies. will there be a day when there are simply no more children conceived? Perhaps the burning and hewing will happen when the last of the children will have grown to an age when they can reject the HS all on their own ... and waht age would that be, 8 or 28? (yes, I struggle with literal thinking even when it's this nutty) If Mormons can make sense of the entire business of sealing families together, this shouldn't be too difficult for them.

If the Mormon God is the God of Israel, I'm guessing he'll send some bears to tear them apart.

He tells them to go frak themselves.
