With the Indy 500 on tap - have there been any good Mormon race car drivers?

With Gene Fullmer in Boxing and Cael Sanderson in Wrestling and the Bonneville Salt Flats near Wendover(more Nevada & real people, not much credit to mormondom in that one) why no good l-dsinc race drivers?

It's obviously evidence that the LDS church is a fraud. Good catch there Joseph.

neho, you must have some kind of anti-mormon agenda or paranoia and see this in any question.

What can possibly be Anti-Mormon about race car drivers?

After dozens of these badly-thought out threads trying to score points against the LDS Church I'm supposed to believe that just this once it was neutral and asked in good faith? That this once it was a neutral and honest question?

Yeah....sure.

Nice try dumbass.

Assuming you are an idiot incapable of discussing anything here without foisting on us your hatred of the Church because you got picked on for being a fatass in the Scout Program is not paranoia. It's established fact.

Come on, Nehor, you should be able to do better than this. You should at least be able to reference Ab Jenkins.

You should read up on him, Joseph, he's a real interesting guy. "One-time considered Utah's "one-man public relations machine," Jenkins racing fame got him elected Mayor of Salt Lake in 1940 without ever giving a speech, or spending a nickel on a campaign. He served until 1944." (from "Ab Jenkins, our father who art of the salt"). Any dedicated racing fan knows Ab Jenkins and the Mormon Meteor.

Lol. The Mormon Meteor used to sit under the Rotunda in the SL Capitol Building. I loved seeing it, though I am of the generation of Gary Gabelich and the Blue Flame. When I was a kid I loved going to see time trials and other racing out on the Salt Flats.
