Simon, why did you put up a fake Facebook account?

Post by _Polygamy-Porter »

On another thread on Infymus's board you posted your supposed photo and real name of Simon Fuchs
http://www.exmormonforums.com/viewtopic ... 466#p60466

I searched the publicly available Facebook site and found your Faux Facebook page, which has the same image as the above link.

http://www.Facebook.com/people/Simon-Fu ... 2550601794

I noticed on your wall that all activity occurred on May 25th, the same day that you started this a thread on this board titled "I Have No Friends!"

Do you really think that people here will fall into your poorly designed trap in an effort for you to out them?

This dishonest and narcissistic behavior is of grave concern to me Simo... whatever your name is. GET HELP.

I edited the OP in that thread and removed the link. It was stupid of me to think that someone here would want to connect with me on Facebook. This is my first Facebook account (my wife had has one for years), and it is true that I began it on May 25th.

It is not fake. I am no longer afraid to show who I am.

Openness, honesty, integrity. That is the new Simon. (except when it concerns Joseph. I reserve the right to attack that idiot).

Liar.

Why not seek out friends on yonder board at MD&D? Hmmm?

Because, you are a liar.

Simon, none of this is believable. If you want to be trusted, or to be a legitimate part of the community here, you're going to have to do better than this. If you want to keep your anonymity and continue B.S.ing people with this "Simon Fuchs" nonsense, that's your choice, of course. But you're going to continue to be regarded as being on basically the same level as Joseph, Droopy, etc.

You say "I am no longer afraid to show who I am," but that's patently not true. As I asked you on the Ex-Mormon Forums---is it possible to connect "Simon Fuchs" with X_____ University? Or Stamford Hospital? You've been totally silent in response, for reasons that aren't difficult to intuit. You also said above that this was your "first" Facebook account, and that your wife has long had one, but this doesn't wash. If you had a real Facebook account, your wife would no doubt be among your first friends. So again, it just seems like you're lying.

Maybe you do genuinely care about rising above the level you're currently at, but it's going to take a lot more (actual) effort on your part before that happens. My own take is one of extreme skepticism. I think that the operational assumption for everyone on the board needs to be that you're lying.

At this point and given the fact of how much time he spends on this board alone, I'd venture to guess he is lying about being married with children.

Unless he is spending the time while at work, what Mormon wife would allow her husband to spend so much time arguing with ex members of the church?

Obviously, I don't have a way to prove it to you. It's possible to connect Simon Fuchs with my alma matter(s), but probably not my current client, as I am self employed (though, I have been working with my current client for years).

You also said above that this was your "first" Facebook account, and that your wife has long had one, but this doesn't wash. If you had a real Facebook account, your wife would no doubt be among your first friends. So again, it just seems like you're lying.

I can see how that could seem strange. I didn't request her as a friend, yet, for two reasons: 1) I've really done nothing with my Facebook account aside from uploading my mug. and 2) I originally thought that one or two here would request me as a friend, and I didn't want anyone to have access to my family.

Okay, what do you suggest, then?

I can't prove to you who I am. You'll have to assume I am telling the truth if you care.

No, we won't have to assume you are telling the truth.

Just saying.

That's why I added "if you care."

1. The sun rises and sets
2. The tides ebb and flow
3. Simon lies

I have reached these three conclusions because they are all constant daily patterns, observable to all who look.
