Death and Dying - Satanism as Mormon Atheism?

The link here is to an article about the modern Church of Satan (CoS). It was incredibly interesting to me and may be to other readers here.

Of particular interest to me was the description of Satanism in the article. All of my life, I had imagined this religion to be about the worship of Satan. Imagine my surprise.

Anyway, I thought I'd share and see what thoughts others have on it's content.

In the interest of preserving the tenuious peace, I've also included portions of this article in another thread in the celestial forum where I prefer to have a real discussion. But I suspect it will get more views, and thus raise more interest here.
