The photo is published on your website. As such I would guess you formally registered it before publication, no?

If not, it has to be formally registered within 90 days of publication for any infringement to be actionable.

So, please direct me to the registration number so I can check it out.

You chose to take action in the form of a DMCA notice.

I am familiar with them. They work well... but you need to have your images registered within the legally defined time frame to take action and not be accused/possibly prosecuted for filing a false DMCA report.

So, please provide the copyright registration number so I can check it out. Just as I have done on other photos displayed on this site in the past.

I would assume you have the IPTC/XMP data and metadata with your copyright notice and contact information attached to all your photos, right?

Many websites strip the EXIF data from the photos.

I know that Facebook does this. That is way a watermark copyright notice should be on the actual image.
