Do you believe that Adam and Eve were like how Church art presents them...as Anglo-Saxon looking white people, the first two humans on Earth?
Not Russian looking. Not French looking. No Italian looking white people. Not Jewish looking white people. But, Anglo-Saxon looking white people?
The Story of Adam and Eve is a parable based upon the true and historical story of Pharoah Aye and Queen Khiyah of Egypt (c. 1800 b.c.). Aye married his grand-daughter Khiyah in order to keep the bloodline "pure". Khiyah means "fiesty animal" in Egyptian. It is close to the Hebrew name for Eve which is "Khivah" (which means "life" or "lively"). "Adam" means "to appear red" and indeed Aye appears "red skinned" in depictions.
Khiyah was "tempted by the serpent" meaning she was "tempted" by the Serpent/Conbra Crown, by which the pharoahs ruled; a symbol of the "wisdom of the gods". Khiyah then "templed" Aye with "forbidden fruit"--that which "hangs" and is "delicious to the taste".
The "Garden of Eden" was actually Meru-Aten ("Garden of Aten"); a religious/garden complex built near what is now El-Amarna. Had a "tree of life" in the center.
The "rib" story is not literal. "Rib" in Hebrew is "tsela" and can be "rid" or "beam" or "penis"; like the English word "bone" or "wood". Eve was "taken" from the "rib" of Adam....meaning from his penis, i.e. she was his descendant.
The author of Genesis wrote the Adam and Eve parable based upon the story of Aye and Khiyah.
Aye was a priest of Aten, which became in Hebrew ADON (the name used for Jehovah by Jews). ADON-ai means "my Adon" or ADON-oi means "our Adon".
Adam (Aye) was the first ADOM (i.e. one who appears red) meaning the first worshipper of Aten. He taught Aten-worship to Anken-aten, his son-in-law. Aye was the father of Nefertiti, wife of Anken-aten and mother of Khiyah.
Adam and Eve were "thrust out" of the Garden because they offended Aten (i.e. they were tossed out of the kingship and queenship because they broke the law of Aten). They were "cast out" the Garden (Meru-Aten).
*There are no talking snakes. The "snake" was the Cobra-crown, symbol of the Wisdom of the Gods by which the pharoahs ruled. Khiyah was "tempted" by the serpent, meaning she wanted the cobra-crown, but to get it she had to marry her grandfather, so she "tempted" him with "forbidden fruit" (i.e. the ancient Egyptians referred to genitals as "fruit" because they "hung" like fruit and contained "seed" in them).
*You can't get women from ribs! By "rib" is meant the penis of Aye, and Khiyah came from his "loins" (rib).
This is the true meaning of the story of Adam and Eve. No talking snakes. No women from literal ribs. No sinning by eating apples or figs. No Santa Claus riding the skies with flying raindeer.
