Everybody Wang Chung,

I think you misunderstand the process. Firstly, Shades will need to see that the folks on the list are actually willing volunteers. The mod team has always been filled with volunteers.

Secondly, I think you need to wait until Shades has some contact with authentic volunteers and then he himself will prepare a poll for the community.

I don't mind that you put up a poll, but Shades has an established process and he needs to determine when it's time to vote. There may be additional folks who have volunteered via PM's.

Just sayin'
:-)

I voted for Daniel Peterson.

Yeah, this place is getting a little weird

I vote for EAllusion.

And to repeat what I said on the other thread: I appreciate the nods, but I don't have any interest in serving as a moderator.

Jack,

I really wish you'd stop putting Grad school, your family, and your faith ahead of your posting.

Yeah, I know. I was just a little interested to see, by vote, who people would like to see moderate the board. I probably shouldn't have put out the poll as a new thread, but just incorporated this into Liz3564's thread.

[MODERATOR NOTE: Although this thread doesn't STRICTLY do this, nevertheless, please do not nominate anyone for the position of moderator. I insist that the idea to become a moderator MUST originate with the volunteer him or herself.]
