Should we re-sticky "the definitive MA&Dhouse quote thread?"

Dear community:
In my recent thread about changes to the culture of this site, I mentioned how I de-stickied "the definitive MA&Dhouse quote page" thread, which you can read at:
viewtopic.php?p=328968I explained that the reason I did so was because some folks said that it's "sticky," or "pinned" status produced a net negative effect on the culture of the board.
Since then, others have said that they liked it the way it was, negative or otherwise. Either way, what good is a message board if it doesn't meet the needs or wants of its users? So I'll go with what the community as a whole wants. Therefore, should we re-sticky/re-pin "the definitive MA&Dhouse quote page" thread?
Thanks in advance for your vote.

Hell yes! Why do we care what anybody on that other board thinks?

Keep in mind that I de-stickied it because of what people HERE think, not because of what anyone on any other message board thinks.

It when it was at the top it seemed like we were totally obsessed with MAD and we were constantly saying, "na-na on MAD".
Well we are a bit obsessed, but not having it stickied would be a therapeutic step in letting go of the na-na part.
I wish we could make this place more comfortable for traditional Mormons when they want to take a break from the tedium or simply wish to experience more even handed moderation.

The people here are worried about what the people there think.

Hmm, that's certainly food for thought.
You know, I'm tempted to start a poll to see just how many people that shoe fits, but I've started way too many polls and created way too many stickies of late.

You were singing a different tune when the question about deleting my ground breaking chat invites was asked, you scoundrel!

ETA: I'm not voting because I don't care. If some sad meta-board nanny wants to see that as some kind of victory, I'm not going to lose any sleep. That place tends to be a parade of cracker barrel sages firing off rapid clichés they read out of "Chicken Soup for the Mormon soul" or some middle aged has-beens dredging up some positive thinking psycho babble from a Dale Carnegie Book, calling it "
the gospel", and crusading around the tubes trying to solve the world's problems with pointless and naïve aphorisms.

Sure. Granted. But bear in mind that you're going to get some false positives: folks who think the 'de-stickying' is tantamount to heavy-handed censorship. Obviously, it's just not.
The s/p de-stickied perpetuation of the thread would, over time, make that an increasingly-untenable position.
And your principles would remain intact, unscathed.
Or, do the opposite.
But, I fail to see how 'de-stickying' the thread, in any sense, amounts to capitulation. Some particular mod stickied it. Was there some board-wide groundswell to do
that?

How about a compromise?
We can sticky it 9th from the top.
This way we can all feel like we didn't cave to the demands/pressures/threats of one single human being that doesn't even participate on this board, while at the very same time, offer this very same one human being (that runs an entirely different board) a collective dose of MDB respect that he has clearly been proven worthy of.
Peace,
