A Biblical view of sexuality

Post by _daheshism »

Most people assume the Bible says: "No sex of any kind outside of heterosexual marriage". Right? Wrong.

The Bible does NOT condemn:

*Masturbation (Onan was not masturbating when the LORD killed him....he was committing coitus interuptus, or "pulling out")
*Lesbianism (not condemned in the Law of Moses)
*Sex before marriage (not condemned)
*Fornication (means "sex with prostitutes" the Greek name for prostitute was pornea, from which we get "forni-cation) Not forbidden in the Law of Moses. The apostle Paul wrote that fornicators would not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Law of Moses does not forbid masturbation (requires one to wash their clothing and body after a "seminal emission"), sex before marriage, sex with prostitutes by a man even if he is married, Lesbianism, nor rape, nor pedophilia. The Law of Moses condemns only male sodomy, incest, bestiality, and adultery (i.e. a married woman having sex with another man other than her husband). It is not known why rape and pedophilia are not condemned. In ancient Hebrew society children or unwed females (except for prostitutes) were never "alone" so they may not have had "problems" with rape and pedophia. But this is just speculation. The Law of Moses condemns neither.

The Apostle Paul does condemn male as well as female homosexuality as well as "fornication" (not a reference to pre-marital sex but refers to sex with a prostitute). The Apostle Paul was a follower of 'The Way' which is a term used by the followers of the Teacher of Righteousness (i.e. Zoroaster) among the Jews otherwise known as "The Good Religion".

Neither the Old nor New Testaments, the Book of Mormon, nor the D&C condemn masturbation. Simply does not exist. Oral sex before or during marriage is not condemned either. "Whoredoms" are condemned along with "polygamy" and "concubinage" (a married man having a mistress). The Book of Mormon does not define "whoredoms" but it may refer to polygamy and concubinage; something Joseph Smith and Brigham Young partook of completely.

Members have asked for decades for a "list" of what is "ok" sexually and what is not in marriage, but Church leaders have refused to provide such a list. Once again, they respond in silence. The Church teaches still, I think, that masturbation is a sin that one must repent of. I once asked a bishop how many times you needed to repent of it, and he said if you do it twice you have no truly repented, and I asked him how many times you do it condemns you, and he did not have an answer but just shrugged his shoulders.

Mormon men with unattractive
ctive wives must use porn or sexual fantasy in order to "complete" the sex act with their wife! Gay Mormon men pressured into hetero marriages must "think" they are having sex with a man in order to "complete" the sex act with their wife. So, the Church says "Do not engage in sexual fantasy" yet many Mormon men MUST DO THAT in order to have sex with their wives they do not find attractive or no longer find attractive. Another contradiction.

Church leaders use "sex" as a way to create guilt and thus control young members. From my own obserations, I don't think most Mormon men pay any attention to the "no sex before marriage" rule. Certainly none of my single male Mormon friends did.

Ummm... Darrick, how long have you been married? How many times have you been married?

;-)

Seriously, why not worry about your own life? Why not do what you can to make your own life better rather than worry about all this other "stuff," you keep posting, year after year after year?

Maybe you could take a break from this sort of weirdness and just focus in on how to take responsibility for your life, then make it better?

Could you take a second and ponder the above?

I was at a Mormon single's dance two weeks ago, and met a gal married twice; both to active Mormon men. Her first husband screwed their babysitter. Her second husband, who was a Stake President, had sex with young boys. So, being "Married" PROVES you must be a good man. Being unmarried PROVES one must be insane/pervert. Right? After all, no fathers who screw their own daughters would ever attract a woman in the first place...which proves NO father has ever screwed their own daughter, since no woman would EVER marry or have sex with such a man. Right? Once again, you are proof that when Mormon men told me their wives were "idiots" they were right. You've proved that.

I was at a Mormon single's dance two weeks ago,

What in the world are you doing, going to a LDS single's dance? Really Darrick?

No, the above proves nothing really.

After all, no fathers who screw their own daughters would ever attract a woman in the first place...which proves NO father has ever screwed their own daughter, since no woman would EVER marry or have sex with such a man. Right?

No.

Once again, you are proof that when Mormon men told me their wives were "idiots" they were right. You've proved that.

What in the world are you talking about?

Again... why not try to improve your own life and forget about whatever it is you think about Mormon women?

I go to Mormon single's dances because I don't like bars.

Your "theory" is this: Darrick has never been married, so it means women don't like Darrick, so it means Darrick must be insane and/or perverted, since women never marry men who are insane and or perverted.

Truth: women marry "insane" and "perverted" men ALL.....THE....TIME!

1) Many Mormon women have married men who have sex with their daughters.

2) Many Mormon women have been sexually molested by their Mormon fathers...married to "good" Mormon women.

3) There was a man suspected of multiple rape/homicide who had sex with many young Mormon women in the Tacoma Washington area...he was quite popular. After police questioned him on disappearances...HE disappeared. Where was the "Discernment" of these girls?

4)Ted Bundy, who used to kill girls then have sex with their dead bodies, had a Mormon girlfriend all during this time!

5) Prisons are filled with men convicted of rape, incest, and pedophilia, who have wives and girlfriends, and these men always seem to get MORE wives and girlfriends when they get out!

Women "LOVE" insane men and perverts! They have no problem at ALL in getting women to sleep with them or marry them. None. Most "rapists" are married!

Your "theory" is shot to hell...proving you're an idiot, helping to prove what Mormon men used to tell me all the time "Women are idiots, tell them what they want to hear, and they'll believe you".

In front of your face Mormon men will say, "Oh, I don't believe Mormon women are ignorant, they are smarter than me...hahaha!" Behind your back, they'll tell ME and others what they truly think of you. They have. They think you're INFERIOR to them, mentally and otherwise. And I've come to the conclusion they are right.

Really? What is your purpose in going to a LDS dance?

Your "theory" is this: Darrick has never been married, so it means women don't like Darrick, so it means Darrick must be insane and/or perverted, since women never marry men who are insane and or perverted.

This response demonstrates your problem

This is NOT my theory. I have never suggested or implied or stated any such thing... at all.

Truth: women marry "insane" and "perverted" men ALL.....THE....TIME! Ted Bundy, who used to kill girls then have sex with their dead bodies, had a Mormon girlfriend all during this time!

Yes, I am aware of this.

Your "theory" is shot to hell...proving you're an idiot, helping to prove what Mormon men used to tell me all the time "Women are idiots, tell them what they want to hear, and they'll believe you".

NOT MY THEORY.

Wow, where do you come up with this stuff?

Derik, it could be that you are just meeting smart women. That is shown by their running the other way once they meet you.

Soo, how are things working out with this new lady friend of yours? ;)
It is little wonder that of all the people at the dance, you would be the one she meets, and she would be the one you meet.
