I don't think that Scratch should add Juliann to his blog. It has nothing to do with Dan G's silly threats. Dan G is making a complete idiot of himself; he's doing a great job of hanging himself, so why not just keep extending the rope?
The reason I don't think that Scratch should add Juliann to his blog is for one simple reason....Juliann asked him not to. It's the same reason that I disagreed with Tim Tribe's entry.
And, Scratch, before you get into semantics about Juliann not asking you specifically about an entry in your current blog, save it. You know it is the same thing.
You're classier than that, Scratch. Don't stoop to Dan G's level.
I think that Juliann's post on MDD was sincere. If she is willing to apologize for past mistakes, I'm willing to accept her at her word, offer my apologies for my brash comments at times that may have hurt her feelings, and move on.
Dan G has simply become power-hungry and has an inflated ego regarding his administrative status with the board. I would strongly suggest to Juliann that she consider taking back more of the reins, so to speak. I know that she has been dependent on Dan G's computer knowledge, but there are other folks out there who, I'm sure, would be more than happy to help her maintain the board.

I think that if I were Juliann, my concern would be if you used her in real life name, or made in real life references, Scratch.

My bottom line is that I would hate to see someone's job or personal life affected by something like that.
It's the same reason I vehemently disagree with Dan G publishing Shades' in real life name against his wishes.
If she asked you not to post it, you shouldn't post it.
And for the record, I was very impressed with Juliann's kind response to me a couple of weeks ago, and it's nice to know she said much the same thing in her post.
It just doesn't do any good to keep bringing up old resentments and picking at the same scabs. Give it a rest.
I think Juliann should be left alone. She was classy enough to find some of the "ban" memes funny, and only objected to the crude ones, which most of us objected to, as well. I think this current tempest in a teapot is DanG's making. He looks like a fool with his neighborhood watch, and I think we should allow him to continue to look like a fool.

I know this breaks board rules but I have been missing in action and it seems I have missed quite a bit.
I had the good luck to be running about the country as some very unpleasant events unfolded. The day before I left, I received notice that a link to a meme using a photo of me was posted on Dr. Shades board and it was allowed to stay there which created a lot of traffic on the meme. Some vulgar things had been written but also some very funny word plays off the word "ban". I had very limited exposure after that and I am still not caught up on the chain of events. Evidently, it got so vicious that even some members of Dr. Shades board objected and began putting up blank memes to fill up the pages and I appreciate that. I understand that some who did try to stop this were also targeted.
I made a committment to never look at Dr. Shades board several years ago because of the ongoing hurtful comments. What I know about it is from second hand accounts and I'm keeping it that way.
I am hoping some good can come out of this. It seems that there are simmering resentments from exchanges that occurred years ago. I don't hold grudges and I just don't care about either side of the story anymore. If someone is still angry with me I am sincerely sorry. I don't know how to fix it because after all this time I don't understand it.... but I would hope that everyone could set aside hard feelings, forgive and move on. I have. Life is too good to remain mired in negativity and blame year after year after year.
Here is hoping for a brighter, kinder cyber-future for all of us.

Doctor Scratch is "classy"? I didn't know mudslinging and bullying could be considered classy. And one wonders why this place has the problems it does....... The bar is very low around here.
