The reporter calls it a "replica" of Noah's Ark.

Really. A replica.

It might be a good thing.

Even though it's enormous, it should be obvious to anyone that sees it, that you can't get two of everything to fit. Not even considering the food and fresh water that would be required to keep them all alive. Essentially, collapsing the world's largest zoo ever into that small a space.

It's actually an interesting story as myth's go, but only a myth.

This must have cost the builder a bundle. I'll bet he recoups nicely with the entry fee from tourists, though.

If you build it, they will come.

Not sure if he is a nut job or brilliant. I think he may be on to something. Seeing that ark has to give some literal believers a healthy dose of cog dis.
What would be the LDS equivalent?
I think someone should buy 2,000,000 mannequins and pile them up on the hill Cumorah.

Oh Jesus! that is a funny mental image!

A fleet of massive Airforce cargo planes dumping these mannequins on the hill..

No no no, LDS Inc would make it a service project and have all of them brought in by hand.

Or have LDS Inc buy up the large Amusment park in Farmington, Utah (Lagoon).

They could rename it Book of Mormon Lands Amusement Park.

The north half could be called the Heartland, and the southern part called the MesoAmerica.

Among other things they could replace the Log Plume ride with the Jaredite Barge Plume ride.
