Dealing with Ignoramuses all of my life...

The first Ignoramus in my life was my father. I am HIGHLY allergic to nicotine. My father was a chain smoker. I would go to bed every night with horrible sinus headaches, and I would fall asleep usually as the birds began to chirp; only to be awoken about an hour later for school. I was always tired in school, very tired, and my nose ran constantly. I used to wear long sleeve shirts in order to wipe my nose on them because they constantly ran. In high school I ditched quite abit because my father would get drunk every night and SCREAM and yell at me and my mother until about 2am, and then I'd go to bed and have horrible sinus headache and fall asleep about dawn. I told my father many time that I was allergic to nicotine. He ACCUSED ME OF LYING because, he said, "I see you eating chocolate bars, and they have nicotine in them!" I actually had to write to Hershey, and they mailed me a letter saying there was no nicotine in any of their products. My father said, "Well of course! They HAVE to say that!" Again, an "Ignoramus" is any man or woman who believes as truth whatever they WANT to believe, and believe as lies whatever they DO NOT WANT to believe; the evidence be damned.

After ditching high school quite abit I was taken to see a counsellor who asked me why I wasn't going to school. I told him the TRUTH...about my father's nightly screaming sessions and that I could not get to sleep because of my sinus headaches. He said, "Darrick, lying is NOT going to benefit you here!" I was IN SHOCK! He was another Ignoramus.

Most Mormons are certainly Ignoramuses! About 90% at least. Same is true for the so-called "Christians". Mormon bishops are some of the worst Ignoramuses I've ever met. Born-again Christians (so-called) are another group of simpletons and Ignoramuses. I've confronted hundreds of them over the decades. Some of the most ignorant people on earth.

The world is divided into two groups:

Rational men: hold judgment on any belief until one has seen both sides, and judges truth on the merit of evidence instead of subjective reasons.

Ignoramuses: judges things by outward appearances, decides that "Truth" is what one wants to believe and "lies" is whatever one disagrees with. MOST Mormons are certainly in this group. Most religious people are. Most "atheists" are too.

Educated people can still be Ignoramuses. A man educated as a doctor may think he knows "everything" about everything. Educated Ignoramuses are some of the worst Ignoramuses.

To the Ignoramuses in Mormon Discussions: 100% of what I have written on all of my posts in Mormon Discussions is 100% TRUTH. If you say otherwise, it is only because YOU are an Ignoramus.

Rational men cannot tolerate Ignoramuses very long. It's too painful to be around them.

Darrick, why do you continually create threads to tell us basically the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over....? Years of this stuff.

We get it.

Perhaps you could see a therapist?

A quick way to avoid ignoramouses is to quit standing in front of mirrors.

Darrick, try to see the good in people if you can. I'm really sorry to hear your life has been so difficult, but you lug all this s*** on your back, never realizing you can toss it aside and free yourself of a burden. You've got to find peace, and since it's apparently nowhere to be found in the past, try looking other places.

As you drive down the highway, ever notice how everyone slower than you is an idiot and everyone faster than you is a maniac?

Could be worse. They could be anti-Mormon liars. ;-)

Gee, BC, I hope you really don't think this way. It would be a big insight into your world view, if you did.
