Who's happy?
It seems as if people are generally down these. Of course there are exceptions, but I can't remember a time in my life where things felt like this. Nothing is particularly wrong in my own life, and yet I sense something. Can anyone relate, or am I simply losing it? I just don't see many happy people these days - it's bizarre.

Hello,
Were you around in the 90's? They were so cynical back then...

I'm genuinely happy. My family is doing well, I'm content with my life and comfortable in my own skin. Of course, I'm on meds for depression, so maybe this is all just artificial happiness. :)

Glad to hear you're happy. But of course, you're on anti-depressants for a reason :)

Yep, according to the doctors, I've been depressed since I was about 12. I think they're right. Haven't had any symptoms in about 4 years now.

My unhappiness is not so free floating. I know exactly what's causing it: work, finances and lack of time. Those are big problems, but not insurmountable.

It is all so simple: Become a multi-millionaire, quit your job, move to Utah to pursue those endeavors which make you happy. If nothing else, you could lead the fight against any efforts to rearrange the Spiral Jetty into a CTR.
