I voted Moroni, but I'd maybe Solomon is a better choice. He was a serious enthusiast of that lifestyle.

I'm opting out of the above choices and choosing Casanova. He would have been well dead by then and thus an angel (or some such thing). Who better to tell Joseph Smith he needed to start fooling around with other women?

I wish Joseph could have explained what the sword looked like. That would tell us a lot about what era/culture the angel grew up in.

Honestly, I had to Google Ron Jeremy. The Wiki had images.
Hard to picture him as cherubic. He does seem to have the baby fat required. Maybe with small wings...

Angel=messenger=prophet=joseph smith
flaming=on fire, engulfed, engorged
sword=penis
i.e. joseph smith had a flaming hot penis which forced him to practice polygamy.

Perhaps it was a gay angel and the flaming sword was his flaming homosexual penis?
The angel said, (with a slight gay lisp) Look Josefff either you have sex with that little girl or I will have sex with yew.
So unless Joseph was a closet gay man, I guess he was stuck with a tough choice, statutory rape of an innocent little girl(minor), or getting plowed by the gay angel's flaming sword..
