Ed Decker was right....Mormons ARE Pagans!

Ed Decker used to dress in Temple Robes outside of Mormon Temple Open Houses and carry a sign which read: "Welcome to America's Newest Pagan Temple." I spend two decades opposing Ed Decker, but I came to see....Ed Decker was right!

Not about everything! After all, Ed is a secret atheist and a very immoral and dishonest man. But, that doesn't mean everything he wrote or said was a lie. Much of what he said/wrote is true.

Mormons _____________ARE_________ Pagans!

All Pagans worship "God" or "gods". They build temples to elephants, rats, monkies, or spirit-gods like the Kami of Japan. Why? For one purpose: to "get things" from the gods.

For example, there is an organization called Soka Gakkai International (SGI). SGI has over 17 million members; mostly in Japan. It is growing much faster than than the Mormon Church. It is Buddhist. but teaches that if one chants a certain chant ("Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo", which means, "Devotion to the mystic law of cause and effect through sound and vibration.") you can get anything you want! Men can get a beautiful wife. Parents healthy and well-behaved children. Women a successful husband. Health. Wealth. Job promotions. Protection in travel.....does this SOUND FAMILIAR???

Most Mormons go to Church and Temple for the very same reason SGI members chant! To "get stuff". For men this has to do with sex, money, power. For women it has to do with making their lives as easy as possible; with a successful husband, healthy children, protection in travel, protection from disease etc.

And, perhaps 50% of SGI members will sware to you their chanting WORKS! They'll tell you have they chanted 10,000 times, and, yep, sure enough, they got that woman to marry them, or they got that man to marry them, or that had a healthy child, or they got protection in travel, or they got that job promotion, or they had a successful year in business...the VERY REASONS Mormon men and women "know" that the Church "works".

About 50% of SGI members are inactive, because the chanting didn't work. About 50% of Mormon Church members are inactive, for the very same reason!

If you are a SGI member and you have wealth, this is PROOF that SGI works! If you are a Mormon Church member and you have wealth, this is PROOF that "the Gospel works".

Both SGI members and Mormons are simply IGNORANT materialistic people. They are "superstitious" and not "spiritual" at all! Both are.

Both think they are the wisest most blessed people on Earth, because they have found "THE TRUTH".

Your understanding of paganism (focusing on Shinto for some reason without saying so) is about as informed as your take on Mormonism. You know nothing of either. Stick to what you know my friend:

People get huffy about all sorts of things. Indeed, people get all huffy when they hear some folks do believe in the infinite God of the Bible too.

Well I hate to generalize but it seems the "counter-cult" industry cares a great deal. talk to them, they'll say it every paragraph or so.
