God and technology
Just curious - do you believers think God makes use of advanced technology, as we do? Or do you think he does something more like ordering everything to obey him, and it just gets done?

As usual, I assume we are talking about Yahweh here?

I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Not necessarily. Whichever god(s) you believe in.

The technology that God uses is so far beyond anything we could ever image. Yet it may be a technology that requires no particular device but is available to Celestial beings.

God likes Androids better than iPhones, mostly because he likes to be the only one so maniacally proprietary and resents Apple for it, but also because Androids are better.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

At first I thought you were talking about the LDS Heavenly Father so I voted for the "non innovator cave guy". But later I realized you weren't limiting the God.
Consider this: HF has many wives and isn't trying to help out the third hosts, apologize to black people, apologize to women, or apologize to the descendants of the Amalekites. He is one crusty fella. His ex-wife, on the other hand... She has managed to break away from the most powerful man in the universe and regain her self pride. She was scared at first but she did it. She innovated and she continues to innovate and think of better ways to help the world. She realizes there are a lot of roadblocks and challenges but she is facing her fears. She is an inspiration!

Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)
