Maxwell institute assumes Columbus

Post by _zeezrom »

Folks at the Maxwell Institute seem to believe the Book of Mormon is talking about Columbus in the discovery prophecy (1 nephi 13). http://mimobile.BYU.edu/?m=5&table=book ... =73&id=882

What about
Bjorne Herjolfsson
Leif Ericson

Did they do their homework?
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

The Holy Sacrament.

Why did you link to the mobile site? Are we supposed to view it only on our phones?

I have been told, I can not confirm its truth, however, I was told that Israelites referred to each other as "man" in a story so the other Israelites would know it was a Israelite.

I believe in the verses which many think is Columbus he is referred to as a man. I was told this by missionary on my mission.

A few years after my mission I am watching a history show which alludes that Columbus was Jew, and pretended to be Christian to escape the inquisition....which of course no one expects.
