Much of Religion/Science conflict is mistranslation

Much of the religion/science conflict is based upon mistranslations of the Hebrew. For example, nowhere does the Hebrew say that the entire planet Earth was covered with 15 cubits of water. It says the entire "eretz" (land) was covered...the land that Noah lived in. And in fact the land that Noah lived in, the Valley of Ararat, was indeed once flooded, about 2800 B.C.
Nowhere does the Hebrew demand six 24 hour days for the creation. Also, the Hebrew word for "heavens and earth" in Genesis chapter one when it says ELOHIM (Gods) created the "heavens and earth" does NOT mean the Cosmos and planet Earth!
Also, one must take into account that in some religions, evolution does not contradict: such as Hinduism, and Buddhism, and Jainism, and even the Qur'an says that all life came from water, and does not speculate on the origin of the Cosmos.
Indeed, in Hinduism the BRAHMAN lives for trillions of years, or about the time science says the Cosmos will last before the very last "heat" runs out. Our Cosmos is very, very, very, very, very "young" at 15 billion years old.
Hindu seers described Vishnu as having four arms, and within each arm a different things (a conk shell and three others). Some suggest this represents the Four Forces of the Cosmos:
*Gravity
*Electro-magnetic
*Strong nuclear force
*weak nuclear force
Regarding Adam and Eve, the Bible does not put forth that Adam was the first "Iysh" (human male), but the first Adam ("man who appears red"). The word "Adam" in Hebrew means "to appear red, to blush". Even James Talmage declared that the Bible is not a record of the entire human race, but rather the record of the "Adamic" race. This speech was published by the Church in 1937 as a pamphlet titled "The Earth and Man".
All the races of men were originally "hairless" on their face and body. Only the Adamic race the men have "hair" on their faces and bodies. Even chimps, bobos, orangutans, and gorillas the males have hairless faces.
The original Europeans, from whom the Algonquin Indians partially descend, were likewise, the males having hairless faces and bodies.
The insistence that the Church is "creationist" came from the efforts of Joseph Fielding Smith, beginnin in the 1930s. He was an avid reader of the books by George McReady Price, a seventh-day adventist and "self-taught" geologist and "father" of the Creationist movement. Price was also quite racist. Ellen G. White, the "prophetess" of the Adventist Church, had "visions" which said that the creation was six 24-hour days and that Earth was no more than 6,000 years old, Adam and Eve the first humans. Price sought to "prove" White inspired of God, hense the need for a "new" science to combat evolution/old Earth. JFS accepted the works and arguments of Price (just about ALL have been repudiated), and then sought to "change" the Church into "Creationist".
Joseph Fielding Smith met with some success. Certainly, by the time he became President of the Twelve he wielded a LOT of power, and even got BYU professors fired for teaching Evolution. He "changed" portions of Church history to try to suppress all notions of belief in Pre-Adamites by early Church leaders. Joseph Fielding Smith was not very honest. He was a lot like Gordon B. Hinckley.....if you don't like Church History...."change it" to what you like!!!
In fact Brigham Young rejected the notion that Adam was made out of clay. Parley P. Pratt and Orson Pratt rejected the notion that Eve was made from a "rib" of Adam. Brigham Young interpreted "rib" as "penis" (i.e. Eve was the daughter of Adam).
Spencer W. Kimball decalred in the ENSIGN "the rib story is, of course, figurative". Figurative of WHAT? He did not say.
The Story of Adam and Eve is probably based upon the true historical story of Pharoah Aye and Queen Khiyah (Aye's grand-daughter). This occurred in Egypt about 1800 B.C. Aye was the advisor and father-in-law to Ankhenaten, whose wife was Nefertiti (daughter of Aye). Both died, and Tutenkamen was Pharoah, but he soon died. Khiyah was left without a husband, and she wrote a letter to the kind of the Hittites asking for one of his sons to come marry her, but the prince died on the way to Egypt. Khiyah had to marry one of the Royal Household, and Aye (her own grand-father) was the apparently the only male left. So, she married Aye.
This is the meaning of the "rib". In Hebrew "rib" (tsela) has three meanings:
1. rib
2. wooden beam
3. penis
Khiyah was taken from the "penis" of Aye; meaning she was one of his offspring.
The name Khiyah ("lively little animal") in Egyptian is very close to the Hebrew name for Eve which is "KHIVAH" ("life, lively").
Khivah married Aye because she was "tempted by the serpent"; meaning she wanted the Cobra-Crown. The Cobra was the symbol of the "wisdom of the gods" by which the Pharoahs ruled.
How could Aye be the "first man"?
Well, in Genesis, it says first that the Elohim created "man". Nothing about woman. Then, later on, it says that Adam fell into a deep sleep and Eve was created from his "rib".
The Daheshist meaning of this:
Six thousand years ago, a man named ADAPA appeared as the first priest of the first city (Eridu) close to the Euphrates River. He is called the "son" of the "gods". The ancient Sumerian texts says he broke the wing of the West Wind, and was punished with a "disease" that all mankind inherit.
The Akkadians changed the name of ADAPA to ADAMA; the "p" being changed to an "m".
Adapa later reincarnated as Aye son of Yayu, the Prophet of Aten. Aten commanded that a "meru" (walled garden) be planted on the east bank of the Nile, and became known as Meru Aten ("Walled Garden of Aten"). The Hebrew name for their God was YHWH, which was secret and could not be pronounced. Therefore, the Hebrews referred to YHWH as "ADON" which is very similar to "ATEN".
The Hebrew word for "Eden" ("Ey-den"), which means "delight", is not far from "Aten". The Hebrew "gan eden" means "walled garden of delight". Meru Aten was a walled garden on the east bank of the Nile at where Tel Amarna now is located.
The "Elohim" (Hebrew: "gods") is not one individual (as is in Mormonism). The name "ELOHIM" comes from "EL" ("God" in masuline) and "ELOAH" ("Goddess") and "IYM" (masculine plural). It literally means "The Gods and Goddesses".
The "Gods and Goddesses" formed ADAPA, who was wise, and taught man how to write and how to plant and build. He became the first priest of the first real "city" (Eridu).
Who are the "ELOHIYM" (gods and goddesses)?
According to Doctor Dahesh, the miracle-working Prophet of Lebanon, they are highly advanced humans from the planet Jamillyoon.
The Adamic race is literally partially pre-Adamite and partially the descendants of Adapa...a child of Yah of the Jamillyoon. In other words, Adapa was not "born" upon this planet, but upon another, and brought to this planet.
For Daheshists the "ELOHIYM" (gods/goddesses) refers to humans who dwell on "higher" planets than the Earth; meaning planets where the humans are more evolved, and more advanced. According to Doctor Dahesh, these "men" from Jamilyoon created the first Temple of Baalbek, in eastern Lebanon. A Temple that included stones weighing HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of tons each; so large they can't even be moved today by the heaviest machinery.
You say: "Fairy Tale".
Could be. However, is it so IMPOSSIBLE that there are not higher civilizations in the Cosmos? Is is not possible they have visited this world? I don't think it is so impossible.
The "ELOHIYM" are not immortal "gods", but they appear "immortal" to us, because it may take years for them to come to Earth but to us it is thousands of years. They age a few years on a trip from Jamillyoon to Earth, but in Earth years thousands of years have passed. This is why YAH is called "OLAM (Ancient) of Days" and "from OLAM(far hidden past) to OLAM(far hidden future) thou art MIGHTY".
The name "EL" means "MIGHTY ONE" (male gender).
The name "ELOHIYM" means "MIGHTY ONES (male and female genders).
The One God is ALLAH; the Divine Mind. Not a person. Not a "soul". The "Mind" of the Cosmos.
I accept Doctor Dahesh because of his thousands of supernatural miracles. He PROVED he was a Prophet by them, and by visiting me in my room in 2005, sitting upon my bed, and walking in my home, in daylight as I was fully awake, no head injuries, on no medication. This was in response to a prayer.
