Which US State has fewest LDS ?

Am going to visit some friends in the Dakotas/Minnesota/Iowa , a couple of whom are LDS. Went on LDS.org and checked and the church website says North Dakota has a total of 2 LDS Churches. In searching it came up with only two.

Maybe moving to North Dakota would be a good way to avoid so many Mormon types? My friends there are always talking up the hunting and fishing.

Is North Dakota the state with the fewest LDS churches? Amazing that a place with so few would have a temple?

If you want the lowest number of LDS per capita, try New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Rhode Island.

Not per capita, fewest buildings too so we wouldn't even be close.

Odd though that a temple is in a State the moronicpriesthood home site says has only two l-dsinc church buildings.

I think the hunting would be better in the Dakotas too. Right on the central flyway.

Are there any other states with fewer l-dsinc in them?

Mormons are concentrated in the Western US, mostly Utah and Idaho. Some of the other states close to Utah also have relatively high rates of Mormonism (if you consider 10%-25% high). Once you get East of Colorado, Mormonism becomes irrelevant. They're just another weird religion knocking on doors like Jehovah's Witnesses. So if you want to avoid Mormons, you will be safe in most of the US. See map below

Are those Utah's socialist and plural marriage zones in light green?

It would be fun to see if any Mensa members on this board could find a route from Canada to Mexico going only through the white counties on the map.

Simple route from North Dakota through Texas, with only one interesection of four counties in Texas per the map. All the others are straight through.

So, like 'four corners' you an step over the intersecting boundary and complete your trip to the drug cartels and wetbacks.

Would there be any correlation between those states with a higher number of college graduates and number of LDS?
