Due to death threats, I withdraw

Threats of physical violence and death by one on this board have given your your wish.

One 'lawyer' making the threats is enough for law enforcement to advise me that leaving is the smart move. I will not be posting on these forums any longer.

I will monitor some things and cannot be held responsible for what may come out if law enforcment investigates and makes public PM's, emails and the identities of any and all involved in any way on these forums. If that happens I will make sure all is made public.

If it stops here, fine. If it goes any further all bets are off as I will use every LEGAL means possible to take care of the problem. Words online are fine. Threats of violence and death are not.

All because some idiots can't or won't get permission to publicly use the intellectual property of others.

I'm all about freedom of speech and prefer to exercise my own by not reading people's posts rather than blocking them. Personally I also think the image thing became incredibly overblown. But when speech turns to threats of violence, the right to anonymity and protection ends.

The fact someone would do this or that someone is accused of this demands investigation and action on the part of the moderation team.

I'm not asking it be dragged out onto the board. I don't care about seeing the details. But if Joseph is telling the truth, the guilty party should be banned. And if Joseph is lying, then Joseph's exile should not be self-imposed but inflicted.

This goes too far.

I disagree. If someone has threatened violence to Joseph, they've crossed a line. If Joseph is lying, he's crossed a line. It's no longer about images.

I don't condone who ever has threatened you with violence. But I also must question the logic of one who continually pours gas on an already hot fire and expects to come out unburned.

If you received a threat behind the scenes, you should immediately notify admin and let admin take care of it as they see fit. There is no reason whatsoever to call "law enforcement", good hell, talk about overkill.

Unless you've emailed the person who allegedly threatened you or have given them your contact information, there is no possible way a poster could visit violence on another poster on this board.

So it doesn't add up unless you're completely delusional, which I don't entirely rule out.

So yeah, other than that, I don't really give a crap for your cheesy dramatics and "The sky is falling!" BS harping on copyright.
