Jesus might well be saying, "I wish Buffalo would get off his ass and help that child."

Meanwhile, Buffalo is saying, "I wish Jesus would get off his ass and do something - anything at all!"

That's such a sad pic of that child.

Although, why would a god care more about car keys than a starving child. My mom couldn't find her cell phone and she said little prayer and a few minutes later she found her phone! God answered that "call" for help. How come he doesn't help this poor kid? Are cell phones, car keys, and touch downs that much more important?

We can do are part to help out starving children but you would think a loving god would do something about this too.

The answer is God cares more about white ladies who are late to meetings than African children who are starving to death.

he did something, he died on the cross for such as these. the poor and the orphaned.

I'm sure that's a great consolidation to them as their bodies begin to break down from lack of food and water.

He did. He made you. I human being born into a position to do something about it, someone who obviously (and rightly) has a certain tenderness for this child. Maybe Jesus is saying right now, "Why aren't you listening, Buffalo? You care, just like I knew you would, now do something."

I'm apart of a African ministry, so is my dad, and I would have to say, they find great consolidation in his promises. Even in their poverty... much more than the footballer or the lost keys chick. It's real to them. To us it's a lifestyle that we use to try to get more happy. Christ called us to suffer and ease the suffering of others.

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. " -Psalm 56:8

"Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep." Luke 6:25

He gives them living bread and living water that will not perish. I know it doesn't sound great to us here... but it is his answer to the problems of the world in every way. If you don't like his answer, that's okay.
