Celestial busy work

So I've heard it said in passing many times that names submitted to LDS temples tend to get baptized and endowed over and over and over and over again. This is because they don't have enough names to do, but they want to keep giving members busy work. Is that true?

I've heard that the temple system itself recycles names. That was supposedly told to a member by a person who worked in their family history center (I believe).
Now, the fact is that many names are done over and over and over again. Some dozens of times. Even the marriages of Brigham Young have been resubmitted by people.
New Familysearch is supposed to make it less likely that names will get done multiple times, however people can always just make a new entry and alter it slightly and refuse to merge it with the duplicates so that they can do the work themselves. Some people clearly don't care if it has been done a dozen times, they want that honor.
I'm not sure what names the church currently has access to via extraction programs. One thing about the church is that they will submit the names pulled from record extractions for temple work even though they do not have all the information that is required by a family member.
Example: They will do sealings from marriage records...just the marriage sealing.
In order for me to do a temple sealing for my ancestors I am supposed to have birth/marriage/death dates and places. I am also supposed to do the baptism first, endowment then the sealing.
The Catholic church is no longer allowing the LDS church access to their parish records for extraction. It may be that there is a shortage of temple names to keep the patrons busy. IDK
Someone here should go today and do a temple name and then tell us what it was so we can look it up. LOL
