What makes a prophet?

As a great spiritual guru; seer, revelator, and prophet of God's true living church, why doesn't the prophet seem to really fit his role?
-Why doesn't the prophet perform healing through the power of God's holy priesthood for those who need it? Is he not a healer?
-Why doesn't the prophet enlighten us with his wisdom, rather than stating the same old stuff we've come to expect to hear? Is he not a teacher?
-What about Seer? Prophet? Revelator? What divination, prophecy, or revelation provides any legitimate reason to believe he possesses the abilities such titles imply?
So if he doesn't seem to be a healer, teacher, prophet, revelator, or seer, then what does he seem to be? He seems to be the president and chief executive of a large and profitable organization.
So what is it then which makes him "the" prophet?
As a life-long member of the church, I feel my questions are fair.
