Why 10,000 people believe Warren Jeffs is a Prophet

Why do 10,000 people believe that Warran Jeffs is a Prophet of God?

For the very ___same____ reasons millions believe that Thomas Monson is a Prophet!

I spoke with Warren Jeff and Warren Jeff's father for 6 hours a few months before his father's death. I spoke with a number of members of the FLDS church. They all "have a testimony that this is the Work of the Lord" because they "prayed about it and received a confirmation from the Spirit that this Work was true" and "Jeffs was a true Prophet of God".

Also, some of the men said: "I have three beautiful wives, and 8 (or 10, or 15, or 23) beautiful and healthy children, my business is THRIVING....WHY WOULD GOD GIVE ME ALL THESE BLESSINGS IF I WAS NOT FOLLOWING HIS WILL?"

Mormon men have told me the EXACT SAME THINGS! "Why would God give me a beautiful wife, healthy children, and a successful career/business if this was not the True Church?"

Well, why would HE?

Perhaps... GOD has NOTHING to do with it?

Perhaps....GOD does not give you earthly blessings as rewards.

Perhaps....Ed Decker (who is rich, and has many healthy children and grand children and great grandchildren) was not "blessed" by God!

Perhaps...the Gospel of Jesus Christ promises NO EARTHLY REWARDS for those who follow it....

Warren Jeffs was just convicted of two counts of sex with a minor. Let's home he gets life without parole. He's another socio-path and really belongs behind bars for life.

Will the FLDS members OPEN THEIR EYES and realize that Jeffs is NOT a Prophet, and never was? Only 1 in 500 will. The rest will continue to believe he was persecuted for being God's Prophet, and NOT because he's a lying pedophile (the truth) who made little girls have sex with him and each other.

Will LDS Members ever OPEN THEIR EYES and realize Thomas Monson (although a MUCH better man than Warren Jeffs) is NOT a "Prophet" and never was? Only about 1 in 10,000 will. The rest will continue as before in their ignorance and superstition.

If we threw every sociopath in jail would that not mean neither congress nor most corporate boards would be able to assemble a quorum? As for the White House...

Perhaps you have come to the wrong conclusion with this post? The more apt conclusion might be that using a "personal witness" as an arbiter of truth is faulty. How could it not be if people have testimonies of Warren Jeffs as a prophet, while others have an equal testimony of Thomas S. Monson as a prophet?

Praying to receive or know an objective truth is not a viable way to understand objective truth.

It sure is easy to make people look deluded when you make up stories about them huh?

I used to tell Evangelical pastors "Ed Decker is lying about Mormonism on this and this point" and they say, "Oh, YOU ARE A LIAR, because Ed is a Man of God!"

I was telling the Truth, and ignorant men called it a lie.

I used to tell Mormon bishops about my roommate who was banging dozens of young Mormon women, and the bishops said: "Oh, YOU ARE A LIAR, because Mormon women would NEVER do the things you are saying they do."

I was telling the Truth, and the Mormon women WERE giving my roommate sex, all the time, but ignorant men did not want to believe that, so they called the Truth a lie.

I could go on and on.

Repeat: YES, I spoke with Rulon Jeffs and Warren Jeffs, in person, in Salt Lake City (they both lived there at the time), for six agonizing hours. Rulon rambled on almost incoherantly about the lawsuit with "apostates" in Colorado city for about five agoning hours. I spoke with Warren for about one hour. But, he finally gave me permission to visit Colorado City, and I did. YES, I spoke with all sorts of FLDS members, and the men told me EXACTLY what I wrote.

Ignorant men call the Truth a Lie if they don't want to BELIEVE that Truth, and they will call a LIE the Truth if they want to believe that lie. Most Mormons are ignorant.

Yes: http://www.examiner.com/law-enforcement ... are-traits

Their traits overlap. Don't love and idolize American politicians because they neither love or empathize with you. Some psychopaths may love a limited number of people, but only their first degree relatives.
