with the nobody gives a crap blues.
I got my music from A Moment In Time softly playing. A vibrant display and only the cold 'that's a kook in the corner' shoulder from
99% of everybody. This joint is not jumping.
what are they looking for. Nothing new, that's for sure.
who are these people?

fill in the blank? It's okay, I can take you best shot.

I got consolations that always see me through the tough stuff.

I don't know what your thread's about, NL, but I have, circuitously, as it turns out, changed my sig in response.

Nah, I'm just joshin ya. Seriously, your place is on my top 10 list of future places to visit in SLC. Sorry you didn't get much action at your display. For what it's worth, I think a lot of the crap that Sunstone peddles is "kook in the corner" kind of stuff. Stuff 'em if they wouldn't look in on your displays.

Hi James,

I'm sorry to hear your reception hasn't been warmer. for what it's worth, I walked through the book area and didn't actually see your display. Maybe you need to increase your visibility by taking over some of Benchmark's table space in the middle of the room, there. :)

Mike was nice enough to walk by. What? You could not see to the back of the room? I saw you step in for a second. Looked for you again and you were gone.

Two large fellas came up and inquired about 5 PM. The queried about the new theology I realized from a singular sighting on The Apocalrock that I happened to mention. What fun, as I preached up and storm and held forth capturing their wrapped awe. Having fully exhausted my topic the biggest of the two says; "Well that's very impressive and makes the best sense of it I have ever heard. But I do not believe in God."

I almost cracked up on the spot. But I waited 'till they were gone.

So I just spent a half hour toe to toe with Rod Meldrum. His book is vast in pulling together so many fragments of a flawed theory. Nice book and certainly more than I expected with the development of it all.

He was not taken with my Zarahemla is Cajamarca, Peru. Neither did he convince me of the middle USA Book of Mormon geography. I mean, the Great Lakes are sea East, North, West and South? No, not by me.

A couple of locals were mocking my book from afar. I wonder how much of a gist of it they might have had. Rod Meldrum actually told me someone gave him my book a while ago and he spent some time with it.

I lugged in about sixty pounds of books and it is certain that I will be lugging out the same.

I just forgot to look for you. And, as you say, I didn't spend much time in there.

Sorry about that. It was good to see you again, in any case, even if for only a moment.

lol! Well, that's high praise, coming from an unbeliever.

Narrow is the way, I suppose. Hope the rest of your weekend goes more smoothly.

Peace,
