What flat out makes Mormonism evil in my book.

1. Dead redemption.
2. Laying on of hand to receive the holy ghost.
3. Polygamy in all its various forms.
4. The after life structure.
5. Handshakes into the Celestial Kingdom.
6. Their rendition of the priesthood.

What I view is somewhat evil.

1. Book of Mormon (While not true it still contains some good life virtues)
2. Tithing to gain enterance into the temple.
3. The word of wisdom (Should be left up to the individual)
4. Overly intimidating to their youth.

Good things.

1. Their Moral Conduct (a little strict, but christian like)

What separates Mormonism from Christianity?

I think Romans 3:19-31 explains the contrast between the two.

Romans 3
"19 Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. 20 For by works of the law no human being [3] will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
27 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since God is one—who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law." ESV

What separates Mormonism from Christianity?

Mormons spend more time proselytizing and less time attacking. So my final answer is:

C. Proselytizing rather than ravening.

Which religion believes in the pink unicorns and which believes in the purple unicorns.

Oh, sorry, got confused there.

Which church believes in the incomprehensible trinity and which believes in the incomprehensible regression of gods that comes with believing god was once a man like his father.

Does that answer your question?

Oh boy.

1. Dead redemption.

Wanting to save others is pure evil.

2. Laying on of hand to receive the holy ghost.

Belief in Revelation, pure evil.

3. Polygamy in all its various forms.

Unorthodox marriage practices, undoubtedly evil.

4. The after life structure.

Believing that even horrible sinners will experience happiness beyond imagining is undoubtedly evil.

5. Handshakes into the Celestial Kingdom.

Symbolism.....EVIL!!!!!

6. Their rendition of the priesthood.

Belief in God's power.....EVILEST!!!!!

What I view is somewhat evil.

Only somewhat? How delightfully magnanimous of you.

1. Book of Mormon (While not true it still contains some good life virtues)

Books....EVIL!!!!

2. Tithing to gain enterance into the temple.

Mischaracterizations? Yes, I would classify this as evil. What you said, not what we do.

3. The word of wisdom (Should be left up to the individual)

Codes of conduct and daily living.....PURE EVIL!!!!!

4. Overly intimidating to their youth.

Lies our enemies tell about us? Yes, those are evil. Thank you for exposing this one.

Good things.

Oh for joy.

1. Their Moral Conduct (a little strict, but christian like)

After all, one shouldn't be too moral.

Mr. Hater, what you've just said ... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent list were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You'll have to condemn most of Christianity, then.

Hugh Nibley: Baptism for the Dead in Ancient Times (Maxwell Institute)

Laying on of Hands, found throughout the world (Wikipedia)

Three Degrees of Glory (FAIR)

Mormonism and Priesthood: What does the Bible teach? (FAIR)

What I view is somewhat evil.

1. Book of Mormon (While not true it still contains some good life virtues)

A book has no intrinsic evil properties.

2. Tithing to gain enterance into the temple.

CFR

3. The word of wisdom (Should be left up to the individual)

Why is that evil?

4. Overly intimidating to their youth.

What? CFR.

This doesn't make them evil. Strange maybe. What makes them evil is that they have a different gospel where Christ is reduced to a sin janitor.
