Call me crazy, but did I just see Buffalo stake the position that there was a Garden of eden and the story as reported in ol' Genesis is true?

I've offered a "call me crazy" twice today. Somebody better be taking me up on it.

Hey man, just because I don't actually write it down doesn't mean I'm not thinking it.

The snake is a very common symbolic creature used in mythology.

What is ironic here is that the snake is given a "negative" twist as the seductor or temptor.

The snake usually symbolizes rebirth, eternal life or the eternal round. It is typically a positive or god type symbol.

Some speculate that the Eden narrative was created in a fashion of "my god is better than your god" when it relegated the snake to the low state that it did. Kind of a coming out of their mother religion. Crush the old and bring in the new.



What is also interesting is that the snake symbol is used later on in the Old Testament as a positive symbol. In fact, it is used in the more traditional god type fashion.

Moses used the snake symbol a couple times, I believe. Once when he magically turns his staff into a snake and it devours the other magical snake.



Again when the children of Israel get bitten by serpants and Moses makes a bronze image of a snake and puts it on his staff. Looking at the image heals them....brings life.



Christians believe this is a symbol or forshadowing of Christ....making Christ the snake.

Yes, there was an Adam and an Eve. Adam's name of Aye (one of his names). One of Eve's names was Khiyah which means "sprite little animal" in Egyptian. The Hebrew name for Eye is "Khivah" very close to "Khiyah".

"Adam" in Hebrew means "to appear red". Aw-dawm ("to appear red"). Aye was red-skinned in his paintings which still exist. Aye was not Egyptian, but he had red skin. Ancient Eygptian mummies had cocaine and tobacco in them. Ancient Egypt had some sort of "trade" with ancient South America from which cocaine comes. Very extensive canal system found in ancient America dating back 7,000 years! Sunken city off of cuba probably "Atlantis". They traded with north and south America, and with Egypt and others.

Garden of Eden was Meru-Aten (Garden of Aten). "Eden" in Hebrew is pronounced A-den. Close to A-ten.

Aten was the Solar God, believed to dwell in the Sun, worshipped by Nefertiti (daughter of Aye) and Akhenaten, Pharoah.

Akehnaten, Nefertiti, and Tutenamun died, leaving Aye as the only royal adult, he became Pharoah. Khiyah, his granddaughter, desired the "Cobra Crown"; symbol of the "Wisdom of the Gods" by which the pharoahs ruled. The only way for Khiyah to get the Cobra Crown was to marry her own grandfather, Aye. Khiyah was "tempted by the Serpent" meaning she wanted to be queen and wear the Cobra Crown. So, she "tempted" Aye with her "forbidden fruit" (private parts) and this worked, and she was made queen. But they were thrust out of Meru Aten by the priests of Amun (cherubim with flaming sword).

Eve (Khiyah) was made from a "rib" of Adam. The Hebrew name for "rib" is TSELA, and means "rib" or "beam" or "penis". It means Khiyah was the descendant (made from the penis) of Adam.

"Serpent" in the Garden of Eden (Meru-Aten) was a symbol of the Cobra Crown, symbol of the "Wisdom" by which the Gods ruled the Cosmos. Pharoah and queen also wore it meaning they also had the Wisdom of the Gods. The "Serpent" (cobra crown) "tempted" Eve, so Eve tempted Adam in order to get the cobra crown.

Moses lived about 1300 B.C., raised in Phaorah's Court. Aye and Khiyah lived about 1800 B.C. Moses would have been told the story of Aye and Khiyah. He turned this in to the Parable of Adam and Eve.

There's nothing that says it was an apple either.

We should all be grateful to Eve. Without her being brave enough to stand up to God, they'd still be stuck in the Garden .
