The Athena Challenge

So I've been thinking of Zeez and his interactions with the goddess Athena.

In his experiment in praying to her, he revealed some spiritual experiences that closely matched those as a formerly believing Mormon.

I propose a challenge - all of us, at some point this week, read the words of Athena and ponder them in our hearts:

"A day can press down all human things, and a day can raise them up. But the gods embrace men of sense and abhor the evil."
-Athena to Odysseus

"If you always greatly honor the kindness the kindly ones, you will surely be preeminent, keeping your land and city in the straight path of justice."
-Athena

"There was no mother who gave me birth; and in all things, except for marriage, wholeheartedly I am for the male and entirely on the father's side. Therefore, I will not award greater honor to the death of a woman who killed her husband, the master of the house.
-Athena to the court.

"I have come from heaven to stay your anger...Three times as many glorious gifts shall be yours on account of the king's arrogance. But refrain, and obey me."
-Athena to Achilles

And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask Athena, the Eternal Goddess, in the name of Artemis, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Athena, she will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Zeus.

Shall we try it together?

You'll need an oracle containing "frenzied women from whose lips the god speaks" and perhaps some psychotic drugs.

Technically, if you want the full Joseph Smith experience, you'll need wine spiked with hallucinogens. But let's just rely on prayer for now, thanks.

Seems like the worst you could do with Joseph Smith is partake of some "wine, yea, pure wine of the grape of the vine, of your own make". Whereas with Athena, you're approaching sliding infants down the arms of Moloch into a pit of fire.

You don't seem to know much about Athena. And technically, Moloch/Milcom was a son of El before Yahweh was known in Israel.

In any case, to resolve this quandary, I suggest you take the Athena Challenge.

Well, that's what we know about. I have a feeling he was involved in some pretty heavy orgies.

Sorry for the "off topic" but this seemed to be a good place to mention it.

I had a little email chat with Zeezrom the other day and he said to say "Hi" to everyone.

He's says he and the family are very happy with the move and are doing well.

I think you just have a hopeful and overactive imagination.

Shout out to Zeezrom! Glad he's doing well.

If any of you lack wisdom, ask Athena, goddess of wisdom!
