Both make believers feel warm and fuzzy.

Well everything about a unicorn is biologically plausible. It is just the lack of evidence that kills belief.
For Mormonism you have
both a lack of evidence
and a lack of even a little plausibility.
Why?
Well if you take everything out of the film The Godmakers that is a total lie, completely unrelated to actual Mormonism, it gets about 45 seconds shorter. :)
Now, excuse me while I hie to Kolob.

Oh no, don't tell me there isn't evidence for the existence of unicorns? Even anciently? Come on, don't crush everything that I've ever lived for, guys!

I'm bumping this up. It's been 66 hours since the OP was posted, starting this thread. No one has posted explaining what evidence there is for Mormonism's truth claims that match or exceed that for the existence of unicorns.
Please don't tell me my youth was robbed of me based on my family and community pressuring me into something as flimsy or flimsier than the evidence for the existence of unicorns.
That would depress as much as someone pissing in my Cheerios.

You robbed yourself because you won't accept spiritual evidence which is all any religion will provide. I find it highly unlikely that anyone lied to you regarding positive claims about the Church so really perhaps your parents simply did what they thought was best and now you don't believe. Get on with your life and stop blaming others for your unhappiness.

Gary the unicorn died while aiding and abetting an escape from the garden.

A truer word was never spoken. The LDS Church is just as provable as any other religion. Of course, the trouble is that spiritual evidence is wholly subjective and not evidence of any kind. Each person has his own. Which means that the LDS Church is NOT provable just like all the others (or unicorns, for that matter).

Not exactly. For example, the LDS Church is the only Church whose doctrine is not in conflict with the Bible.

Not by temporal means no. But the proof is still scientific.
