I keep reading that BYU is going to the Big 12. Is that going to be a good PR move for the LDS Church? Will it help their missionary work more than being independent in football does?

Once a larger audience sees BYU capturing a national title, people will line up in droves to be baptized.

Oh my goodness, I do hope so hope you're right. The church would then be even quirkier and more entertaining. A football championship as a reason for converting would be the only thing better than converting because you read a story about ancient Jewish Christian Mayans.

They need to get a LOT better to compete in an AQ conference. They will be cellar dwellers based on what I've seen. Is LaVelle Edwards still available?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the BYU/ Utah game the other night. The white and delightsome BYU gridders kinda got trounced by the long haired, bearded, tattooed "less valiant" Utah squad.
How well do you think BYU will do in the Big 12?

So did I. Even better, I had a house full of true, blue BYUers to share my over-flowing happiness with. I made pizza. But I should have served crow.

Except for you and yours, it must have been sorrowful night. :)
I hope you had the good taste to avoid doing a "sack dance" in front of the television.

They will have an unbroken string of moral victories and possibly punts.

If you knew me better, you wouldn't even ask. Of course I did a "sack dance." Over and over and over and over. I did every victory dance in the book. Life can, indeed, be so very good.

You have moved to the top of my list of favorite posters!
Did you attended U of U? I did for four years. Later, Vanderbilt.
