http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... human.htmlInside Scientology's Super Power Building... where worshippers of the controversial religion will be told they can become superhuman.
These incredible images show the inside of the Church of Scientology's new $90m (£57m) training centre where devotees of the controversial religion will be told they can develop superhuman abilities.
The Super Power Building in Clearwater, Florida, is due to finally open later this year after being beset by a long series of delays, which saw construction halt and costs spiral.
The imposing structure, a bizarre cross between a Mediterranean-style hotel and the Starship Enterprise, boasts 889 rooms, an indoor running track and Nasa-style training equipment to help worshippers boost their 'theta' power.
Now, just replace the pictures of space age stuff with pictures of the Mormon Celestial room, and change the wording from "superhuman abilities" to "Gods" and whalla. You have Mormonism.

Once again your posts reveal your lack of education or even that you have read. Why bother posting?
"Whalla." I guess you think Remulak is a town in France.

You're just jealous because there's no gyroscope in the celestial room.

He's just a freakin' flippin' idiot; what a knuckle-dragger. He writes like he's never read anything beyond 12th grade text books.

How pray tell does posting a link show my lack of education? How also does quoting a SNL skit turned movie with a fictitious planet put it into perspective?
Scientologists claim that those devoted can develop "superhuman abilities".
Mormons claim those devoted can "become gods".
So, Yahoo, do explain.

Don't mind Yahoo Bot. It's just the Thetans speaking.

Actually kinda funny in that I just watched Coneheads again a couple nights ago while doing some coding.
Ronnie: [impressed] Wow! My Mom's the only other woman I know who can take a sandwich like that!
Connie: [pointing at Ronnie's sub] You going to finish that?

Infymus,
You'll have to excuse Robert D. Crockett of [in real life removed]. He is obviously dealing with some severe and significant anger/self-esteem issues. One can only imagine the demons that must haunt him. I sincerely hope he can eventually get the help he needs
I promise you that yahoo bot is not representative of the vast majority of LDS. Most are patient, kind, gentle and tolerant.
