What are we going to do forever?

Have religious people really thought about whether anyone wants to live forever?
Seriously, what will you be doing after the first thousand years, the first million, the first billion, the first googleplex?
Having "Celestial Sex" with your wife might sound fun, until you've done it 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 days in a row (all in the missionary position), and then it might start getting boring.
Similarly, almost all activities would likely get boring if they were repeated infinitely many times.

For one living in eternity, one can not do something an infinite number of times. So your question is flawed from the outset.

I've wondered about this myself.
So lets say it take 100 trillion years to learn everything about everything.
Great. Now what?

Obviously the answer is look forward to new innovations in console game systems.

You think it's bad for us... what about an omnipotent, omniscient god that's been around forever? What the hell is in any of this for him?
Any time I've ever played a video game in god mode, it was fun at first, but I always get bored really quickly. Challenge is what makes things interesting. Can you imagine god mode for eternity? If there ever really was a god, I'm sure he's used his omnipotence by now to kill himself from the boredom of being him/her/it.

Yeah, please justify this statement Hoops. How can you NOT do things infinitely many times if you live for ever, assuming that you do them on even a very infrequent basis.
For example, let's say that you go to a little diner on the back of Kolob every 100 trillion years. Taken to the limit, this still equals infinitely many visits over your eternal lifetime.
Other examples are similar.

To DO something requires that it occurs at a fixed point in time. If there is no fixed point in time, then one cannot DO something an infinite number of times.
Do I have this wrong, Keith?

Do you seriously believe that great talent emerges after living ONE lifetime? Great minds have not thought for only twenty-five years. Why are some inventors so prolific? Michael Jackson, got that all in one life? Do you really believe that modern man has not repeated this abomination infinite number of times? Come on. The point of damnation is the check out. Sons of Perdition are the ONLY once forced to lose all and go back into the potters ground. Everyone else gets to choose their time to recycle. Even angels in the Celestial kingdom can check out. In fact the only ones who eventually wont other than God (who kind of does in the Jesus episodes) are the exalted seed bearers (who kind of do in their Garden of Eden falls.)
Any way the point to existence is getting yourself up to where you can fully appreciate God for who he is. This is joy. And after that assisting others to get up to that level. The fact that it takes a world's complete existence from beginning to end to harvest out just a few who will make it demonstrates even better than Mormon Discussions how difficult it is to overcome the natural man and get over yourself. Living for another (for Christ) is truth that passes understanding. A oneness, a Zion, a fullness of joy. You will see, SOOOOOOOOOOME day.

Much as I love to agree with Some Schmo, if there is no fixed point in time you cannot do anything, ever, you do not exist. Way to go. Now everyone can relax.

And yet, God exists in eternity.
