If that bit about all being barbie doll neutered is true, then maybe disembodied in outerdarkness would be a better place to be than the TerrK or TeleK.

On that neutered concept, will we not have mouths since we won't need to eat. No mouths needed to speak, nor ears to hear, since it will all be spiritual telepathy for communication? No need, so obviously our resurrected bodies will not have those features either, right?

Or, is this neutered concept just something the loving god will do to frustrate us, by taking away the our bodies' play grounds, pleasure zones? Sounds like more illogical doctrines of man to try to scare young LDS men into doing their home teaching.

I've not seen anything in LDS doctrine about the resurrection that implies we will be less than fully functional.

The proper term for this hypothetical future condition of most of us is "TK Smoothy." You can think of Barbie and Ken, or (my own preference) Salma Hayek lifting her skirt in Dogma.

Like most afterlife details, it's obviously speculation, based on the idea that we in the lower kingdoms won't be allowed to reproduce. And since the thought of us being able to engage in purely recreational sex, for pleasure alone, would be unthinkable to the Celestial breeders on high, there must be something to prevent it.

But still, even if we are not allowed to participate in the Holy Act of Eternal Intercourse, just being able to freely associate with our loved ones and hold them close when desired would be sufficient. If there are no sex organs, there would likely be no sexual urges anyway, so it's all good. And if the organs are in place but desires are removed, why would we care?

The whole "forever family" thing is just a ridiculous, feel-good claim that falls apart completely upon close examination.

Why is it so damn hard (NPI) for folks around here to give a little attribution? I alone declared this doctrine and have for many years known it is true. The scripture is extant with a simple rationale extrapolated from the fact that ONLY those who enter into their exaltation have the seeds to continue both in the world and out of the world. THIS implies absolutely that damnation is herd management where steers and steerettes are made. Women who fail exaltation will not have the power of conception. Men who fail exaltation will not have the seeds. NO STUFF. A nub for both.

I expect we shall eat and drink and therefore need a nub and a dumper. No mammary glands for non breeders so sexual identity will cease between those who were once male and female. What a glam-fest those hell holes will be. Strutin' and preaning faking this and that. GAWL!

This is not an anomaly. We were sexless before we received spirit bodies and were integrated with the seeds of life that require sexual diversity. Satan and his 1/3 rd absolutely rejected being cut in half of their organized intelligence to accommodate this dimming of the light.

The natural man is the enemy of God from the beginning and so God has always sought to divide and conquer by linking progress to seeds that demand sexual assignment. This is why there are so many gay and lesbians who went along with the plan but rejected sexual differentiation from the beginning hoping to sneak through physical life as much intelligence as they thought they could realizing Nubville One, Two or Three was their destiny. There is lots to this and I faint think the attention span of the audience warrant my getting further involved.
