1) Brigham Young denied he was a Prophet, and denied he was the legal successor of Joseph Smith, and said that David Smith was supposed to be the successor and head of the Church, and Young claimed he was present when Joseph Smith prophesied that David Smith would lead the Church?

2) Brigham Young taught that inter-racial couples should be killed on the spot along with their children, and he said once that if a Negro Elder (Walker Lewis who was married to a white woman) came to Utah he would see his throat was cut?0

3) Brigham Young taught that "Negroes" were the cursed and inferior children of Cain, only good to serve the white man on Earth and heaven, and that Negroes were "deprived of intelligence"?

Kimball taught as "a doctrine of the Church" that Negroes were the cursed and inferior children of Cain, less valiant in the War in Heaven, banned from the Priesthood and Temples until the Curse was removed, but NOW the Church is telling journalists and non-Mormons (via LDS Public Affairs) that it "NEVER taught that blacks are or were ever cursed, and the Church NEVER taught that black people are or ever were the children of Cain?"

38) That the three men who claimed to see supernatural visions in the advent of Mormonism (Joseph Smith, Oliver Cowdery, Sidney Rigdon), was a con-man peep-stoner who seduced the wives and daughters of almost everyone he knew (Joseph Smith), a counterfeiter (Oliver Cowdery), and a man who later admitted he “invented” religious visions in order to get a job as a preacher in Pittsburg in 1822 (Sidney Rigdon)?

39) There is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE that the Nephites ever existed?

40) That the "Prophets/Seers/Revelators" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in reality DO NOT prophesy, see supernatural visions, or receive "Thus saith the LORD" Revelations?

That’s the beauty of BCSpace Jason. You don’t have to deal with a massive wall of text from him, no odd emotional meltdowns, no dire threats of lawsuits, or wild claims of conspiracy. Everything he has to say is distilled down to three or four sentences at most, which contain no over usage of three dollar words, complaints of anonymity, horrendous grammar, or even stupid anatomical references to sex.

Unfortunately, I wasted many years of my life desperately trying to PROVE these anti-Mormon claims untrue. Indeed, I discovered the SOME anti-Mormon claims by SOME anti-Mormons were lies. But I eventually discovered that enough anti-Mormon claims were true to prove...

*Joseph Smith lied many times.
*The Book of Mormon cannot be a history of anyone in ancient America
*The Book of Abraham cannot be what it claims to be
*Brigham Young was a thief, liar, and murderer.

This was enough for me to show me that Mormonism is not what it claims to be.

Once Toto pulls the screen away, and you see that "The Wizard" is just some guy working controls from behind a curtain FOOLING people.....its damn hard to believe again that The Wizard is some supernatural being. It's time to end your trip to the Emerald City, and wake up again in Kansas.

How is anyone supposed to address such claims without references? How does anyone know if these claims are even real? Am I supposed to take daheshism at his word and refute the thin air? Get real. Went back and got some volumes of the JoD and other relevant references alluded to and we refuted every one of them. Two baptisms resulted from that encounter. I'd say you didn't look hard enough and I'd also say perhaps you didn't look at all considering you gave no references in your OP.

Like I said: some anti-Mormons "lie"! Some of their arguments are faulty. But, the main arguments are solid.

I spent four years full time, about 20 years part time, doing research so I could refute anti-Mormon arguments and claims. I am poor today because of this. I should have completed college instead. I'm a fool. I wrote a book defending the Church, published in '89. But, 90% of my research was done after I wrote the book in 1985.

Nobody has done the amount of research as I have. I was not paid for this. I made 400 dollars from my book. I spent probably$20,000 in reserach over the decades, and probably hundreds of thousands in income I never received because of it. Again, NOT to find stuff against Joseph Smith and BY, but to find things to REFUTE the Anti-Mormons. _________________I AM TELLING YOU THE TRUTH______________Mormonism cannot bare close investigation. It doesn't "work". I mean once you review all the facts, the facts don't add up.
