Since you have converted an indescribable feeling into a 'reason' for living your life in the ways the COB correlation committee tells you, I'm just wondering what other dictate sources you'll follow based on a similar method.

Do you buy iPhones, iPads, MacBook Pro's etc. because you had 'faith' in Steve Jobs? Did it just feel right?

Do you always buy Chevy's or Ford's because that is the brand your father was hooked on? It was the 'brand of my fathers'?

I loved the feeling I got from the Mean Joe Green giving a kid a Coke commercials in the 1970s, or the 'I'd like to buy the world a Coke' ads with the young people singing sitting in the shape of a Christmas tree, each holding a candle. However, I always realized it was Madison Avenue manipulation, even though I had warm feelings running through my body when I would see these commercials.

Just wondering, TBMs, since 'hooked on a feeling' is the epistemological method you prefer for a significant decision in your life, what other major life decisions do you make in this same way?

How did you make those decisions re not purchasing Apple products, buying Nissans, and drinking only Pepsi products?

Or more to the point, what major decisions other than religious beliefs do you make based on a warm bosom or indescribable experience?

Well, okay, Coke sometimes.

The important decisions are made with a lot of feeling:

Whom to marry, when to have children, what to name them, where to live, etc. You know, the important things, not the trivial ones.

I don't think I've ever felt the Spirit through feelings. It's always been bursts of knowledge and understanding. Such feels good afterwards, but those would simply be the fruit of the Spirit.

Isn't it odd that there isn't a clearly defined official way of knowing if it is the Spirit talking to you, your own mind, or Satan.

It can cause your bosom to burn.
It can give you bursts of knowledge.
It can confirm your decisions with a feeling of comfort.
It can guide you to your car keys.

Obviously Satan can cause all of these same feelings and manifestations too.
The only way to know for sure that it's from the Spirit is that it must agree with Mormonism.
Well...current Mormonism anyway - if you felt the Spirit about your decision to take a wife in a polygamous union in 1889 then those feelings were from God. If however, you felt those same feelings today they would be from Satan.

bc, you've been posting here a long time. Don't you think it's about time you started sharing your bursts of knowledge and understanding? It would be a nice change from your regular posts of ignorance and confusion.

That's not true at all. The only way to "know for sure that it's from the Spririt" is if the person asking the question really needs a kernel of truth to use as a certain foundation for that person's own personal theology, and if that person really is willing to base the whole rest of her/his life on either a yes or a no answer. At that point the answer that person gets has to be from God, if there's any God at all in control of this universe, regardless of whether it agrees with Mormonism or not.

Hmm? There is not the slightest bit of ambiguity about whether or not something is from the Spirit of God. Who do you think that you are making relative here folks? God warrants his own Spirit by the power of godliness. That is something by deceit the LDS have only pretended to for far too long a time. The lost key of knowledge whereby ALL have to wonder IF this is the Spirit or not proves that none of them ever repent. So they are always wrong. Right? None ever get the power of godliness. They use the appearance of righteousness to goose their pride and contentment between themselves. They are all hypocrite and arrogant unto the vengeance of devouring fire. Sorry.
