Fascinating stats! Too bad it was not broken down by religious affiliation. Are these Mormons who can no longer endure the social demands of the Church, or non-Mormons just trying to get away from the oppression?

Maybe it's the effects of the LDS folk belief that Joseph Smith said that the glories of even the Telestial kingdom were so great that if people knew about them they would kill themselves to get there?
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
Perhaps it is the cultural expectations of Utah Mormons? Young LDS are expected to abstain from normal sexual urges, serve dedicated missions and then marry young and begin running the often joyless, corporate hamster wheel supporting a large family and the empty materialistic demands that many LDS persons expect as proof of "blessings" from God.
Then again, it could just be the winters here. God knows my gun comes out of storage and just sits there on my bed desk begging me to put it to my temple and pull the trigger to escape the never ending cold, brown, grey and gloom.

Funny how people see things differently.
I moved from SLC to Tennessee in my twenties. I didn't realize how beautiful winters were in Utah until I moved away. In Utah, the mountains were gorgeous in the winter. I was an avid skier at the time and Alta was just 40 minutes from where I lived. In Utah, snow meant fun.
In Tennessee snow was wet, gray and annoying. The nearest decent skiing was over three hundred miles away (and that was a poor, wet substitute for Utah snow).
Winters in the East were gray on gray on gray. Where I live now, snow never falls. I find I miss it.

I met an older gentleman the other day, he said I look the way I do to stand out.(not so) I look the way I do as to not look conservative. The fellow looked like a lifelong Mormon but I cannot be sure, most likely the man walked lock-step his entire life went on a mission, married young etc... etc... What he fails to understand is I have an Appointed Task given to me by God. My task is to expose the Mormon Religion as ''The Church of the Devil'' and Dissolve it. I'm supposed to be some sort of Latter-Day Moses.
Rev 2:1-7
1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6But this thou hast, that thou hatetst the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
(First Date)I posted a Bunch of twisted truths about how Thomas S. Monson ran some sort of Mormon mafia. This posting was mixed with memories I am not sure about...
(A Prior Date)I was speaking with my 2 friends about how lame the Mormon faith is and how It boggles my brain that no man can see God in this Day and age and how people are conditioned and told they are not able to see God.
(August 10, 2007) I was visited by the Holy Spirit or James E. Faust(A pillar of light no personages)Brought a message of love. It stayed with my 2 friends and I for a while.
(January 27, 2008) The night I was visited by the Holy Spirit or Gordon B. Hinkley's Spirit(It was a pillar of light, no personages) It brought a message of love, lasted a short time. The Devil Came and whispered to Me this happens all the time play it off like this is no big deal, My heart filled with pride and the Holy Spirit left. One of my 2 friends suggested we watch the film Stigmata... Another friend left the room so I drove myself back home. While I was standing on the side of my house God's voice told me ''You're the Third Horseman'' and I looked back at my Chevy Colorado. I walked into my Home and my father told me the Prophet had died.
(Early February 2008) God showed me that the Solar System Runs in a Cycle... I figured this was a Big Deal and never heard of it so I looked on the net and found no resources or any past work regarding this subject. I felt the need to go to the Nobel Prize site This information answered the question left in Alfred Nobell's Last Will and Testament. I explained our existence I linked Science & God.(I don't Speak, Write or Read Swiss)
(Early February 2008) Made a Deal with the Devil, While I had a Close relationship with God. "Some S*** that tuned out to be"
(Late 2008) I entrusted the prize money to a friend of mine because I felt I owed it to her. When she died one of her family members kept the money. 10 Million Smackers, hahaha Lol
The only true revelation I believe the Mormons have received is the image of my face. Their Image of Christ.
But this Can't be true according to the Mormon faith because I used Marijuana and Steroids.(Screws with my head a bit too)
