Transvestites in the LDS Church

What will happen if a man wears a single earing to church on a regular basis? How will the ward treat him? How will the leadership treat him? Will he be able to get a temple recommend? Will he be able to hold a calling?
Now, what if he wears two earrings? More than two?
What if he wears lipstick and/or eyeshadow?
What if he wears a dress and/or high heels and/or carries a purse? Will he be asked to leave the services?

Amazing how much a Catholic priest's cassock, surplice, and chausible resemble dresses. Wonder why?

Mormonism is the belief that you can get into the Celestial Kingdom by following a man who by his own standards could not.

I am no Biblical scholar, so I can't say whether you're correct or not (you might very well be), but I do note this alternative interpretation (with which you'll disagree, no doubt):
The words sometimes translated "effeminate" and “homosexual” in these passages are obscure and difficult to translate. The first word identifies someone who is morally weak, and has nothing to do with nellie gay men. The second word probably means “people who use power to obtain sex,” though the word is so rare that a confident translation is impossible. Neither word refers specifically to gay men or lesbians.

My guess is that so long as the cross dresser was being quiet and respectful he would not be dismissed from the public services. It wouldn't surprise me at all if members turned out to be courteous to such a person. But then again, I could be wrong about this.
Men wearing an earring? That's not a way to score points in the Mormon church. You see, the Mormon church doesn't believe in free expression and doing things your own way. They want you to mimick the leaders and don a tie and look proper. Toe the line and get your stamp of approval:

So, according to St. Paul (who I think was a jerk), all the gays will not get into the kingdom of God?
And what is the kingdom of God? It must be heaven, right? And the telestial kingdom is part of heaven because there is only supposed to be one king in heaven, which is Christ unto which every knee bows. So, according to Mormon doctrine, St. Paul is wrong and gays get to go to heaven wherein the king rules.

I have no idea, but if anyone decides to conduct some experiments, I do hope they will post the results right here.

If it gets you what you want, and what you want is ethical, what is wrong with it? Whether you want to go home to Ohio, or get ex'd from the LDS church, or run and climb and ride horseback, or transcend sexuality?
