No problem, friend. I was just trying to lighten things up a bit.
Thanks for the ribbin'.
You are welcome and thanks for taking my post as it was surely intended. :)
by the way: As some of my old dope smoking high-school friends would say- "Too much Stem lessens the value of the product". (Just a thought)
Peace,

I don't think the guy can "lighten" up :)
Some how he even miss read the OP which was just suppose to be a light hearted laugh. Instead he took offense to it.

It's amazing to me how often people everywhere use the word 'amount' when they should use 'number' (like you just did). I hear it all the time, especially on TV where people should know better.
Days are distinct units; therefore, 'number' should be used. However, had you referred to time, it would be 'amount' since time is fluid.
Think about it: number of days/amount of time.
It especially drives me nuts when folks say, "amount of people." I always imagine a number of people thrown into a large grinder and pureed into a human stew. "Look at the amount of people there!"
Not picking on you stem. This mistake is incredibly common. Not sure why I keep noticing it. I'm kind of surprised Shades doesn't have something in his posting validation rules to fix it.

Maybe I should feature it as one of my grammar lessons of the day.
