God's Cards

I bet God is rooting for the Cards....as it is his hometown after all.... Adam-ondi-ahman. Ya got the Paul Dunn/Cardinal connection, and then every time A. Pujols does something good he points to the sky giving God the credit. Seems a little bias to me. Sure, I don't care for Texans either but I don't think God should take sides in baseball games.

Never made the connection that it is his hometown team, maybe it would be the Royals though, aren't they closer to the garden of eden? Not that it matters, I think he goes by the most Mormons on the team.

God does allow evil to triumph from time to time. That will be the case if the Cards win.

That makes more sense doesn't it....rooting for players over jerseys. I make the mistake all the time and side up with all northwest teams, since I live in Oregon. Ducks, Mariners, seahogs, then I catch myself and try to just root for somebody I like.....Which inevitably turns out to be some sort of connection.....to me. Local boy makes good, etc.
But WTF....it's all fun.

I'm with ya. 95 ALDS game 5 win over the Yankees is still my greatest sports moment. Edgar knocking in Jr.
May never see a World Series though.

Oh man. Even outsiders seem to remember that one. I thought they were in contention this year, then they went 0 for august. Or was it July? Anyway.... Dang.

Now if only we can get BYU not to punt the ball to TCU on their own 4 yard line or throw INT's in the endzone........
