Had this happened in Utah, school authorities would have chosen new homcoming royalty and then suspended school dances for the rest of the century or at least until such time as the students learned true repentance and said they were really really sorry.

In bc's defense, Freud believed all people are bi-potential. And as another thread of evolutionary psychology points out (not the one currently on the front page of the forum but a while ago) women reporting to be heterosexual, as well as women reporting to be lesbian, get turned on by watching erotic movies featuring lesbian couples having sex.

Since society still sets the standard that heterosexuality is the norm, and thrown into that mix is that one needs a man to reproduce, then one expects that most women become heterosexual. However, a significant percentage of women (I have read that it ranges between 20 and 40%%) have features in their psychology that might cause the to rank as bi-sexual if taking one of the sexual orientation inventories. So if men become increasingly obsolete in regards to relationships (women can get kids through sperm donation) and society begins to present same-sex relations between women as "trendy" then one could expect a lot more women to experiment and wind up coupling with anotehr woman.

Men are actually more useless than that now. Using nothing but women's bone marrow, you can engineer sperm from them. (This is kind of old news).
