does something cease to be evil if god commands it?

God's ways are not man's ways. That means God can do whatever he wants. He made the law so he is above the law. He can send bears to eat people for any reason. He can have sex with virgins. He can force prophets to marry other men's wives.
These things might seem evil and abnormal to us, but it isn't up to us to judge God.
