Rather than engage Sock Puppet in Strip Your Faith Off Poker or complain about the oppression of this board against believers with Stak, I will champion my own thread. I think it has the most meat on the bone for all gnawers and gnashers alike.

Once a blasphemer accepts a fearful mindset of atheism all evidence ceases to be objective.

1. God is read as only vile and absurd. And measured only on a superficial scale that ignores all the weight that should honestly count.

For example: Rather than define God as that will and force of faith by command that gives mass to every varied particle in the universe, he is only weighed in as someone who wants to bash baby brains out against the wall.

2. Everything that destroys the influence and prophetic virtue of Joseph Smith is not only accepted inviolate it gets enshrined upon the alter of blasphemy.
Joseph Smith, for our purposes on this board, is weighed with an unjust scale as well.

For example: Rather than weigh the full value of all the depth and breadth of his revelations, he is only that guy who "supposedly got Fanny pregnant".

The cognitive dissonance between these polarities flips the vilification of both on their heads.

And just for Sox, in forty years there has lacked no day when spiritual evidence was not present with me. It is called in scripture the constant companionship of the gift and power of the Holy Ghost. And to boot there are from time to time great revelations that transcend the world and cause my mind to mount up as upon eagle's wings to ride the high places of the earth, as it were, in the wonder of the gracious gifts of light and truth that distill upon my soul. Thoughts that teach of God are not sparse and these come line upon line and precept upon precept. It is an experience where these thoughts are gifted and not original to myself. And even more rare you are given a project as it were, to bring forth something greatly substantial. Eight times such has occurred in my short life. What measly evidence of extreme prejudice locked behind a fearful delusion could tease any doubt against a life in the kingdom of the Living God?

This is not the reality of LDS people. I know. Although it should have been.

Ah! I was just leaving and you made me sign in again. Is this simply a bald de-rail? Why bring up DK? I get that Joseph dumping links him with every huckster imaginable. But penny weight and hundred pound there is no comparison.

I know that comparing anything Joseph did with anyone else is the first law of Joseph hate. Water it down and get it all soggy so it becomes obnoxious.

DK lacks comparative substance. As do all other religious figures of the last 600 years.

So I take it then the atheist here and the evolution believers here are not delusional. Nobody feels the need to explore the possibility? Is it too true to contemplate that these are delusions? What I am left to conclude is that there are no atheist and nobody here really believes in evolution. They just want to pretend? No atheist or evolution believer is sincere?

It is patently obvious that most blaspheme a stream. That is a given.
