Perhaps it's my basic lack of human decency talking, but I think that Wade England and Droopy would win a DCP-talk-alike contest hands down, since they devote every post to mimicking DCP's style as closely as they can (and indeed, in Droopy's case, over-utilizing the thesaurus to make up for certain educational deficiencies).

I'm sorry but I'm far too busy today to post here. I'm just waiting on a car to pick me up to go to the airport. The very busy airport near me where the car is going to drop me when it finally gets here to pick me up for the airport trip. Anyways, as I was saying that one time a far few years ago when I was asked round to Bruce R's whites only barbeque, when we discussed important things that are far too important to discuss with you bizarre obsessed people here. But I don't have time to go into that because I have lots of important matters to attend to and I would answer the orinigal post in substantive fashion but I am just too impor...ehm....busy to do so. Did you know I have posted another dead guys testimony on Mormon Scholars Testify, it's very good and as I was saying to Dallin H Oaks the other day when we got lunch together, I don't want to do it but I was prompted by a feeling that from the last General Conference we were told we needed to preach the Gospel online so have you seen my column in Mormon Times, it surely is an evil piece of degeneracy the likes of which will see me boil in eteranl hell. But I don't have time to expound and exhort as much as I'd like because I'm waiting for a car to pick me up and it's still not here yet, you vile jerks.

I would love to. But I must defer to my critics here at the oddly named Mormon Discussions board who have far more intellect and educational background than I do and therefore leave me at an extreme disadvantage. Therefore, I will return to my life of blissful ignorance among my faithful fans who, like me, do not possess the intellectual strength to compete with such mighty scholars here. I suppose their advanced degrees must be a fraud. In the meantime, I will not be posting here for the next few weeks as I have a trip scheduled.

I would really like to respond to this thread, but I’m flying out to Jerusalem tomorrow to have tea (I’ll be drinking an herbal mixture composed mostly of Brigham Tea) with the Saudi Minister of Wonderment. Perhaps I’ll be able to write something after I grade some thirty-seven papers (on early Islamic fundamentalist meritocracy in the Late Middle Kingdom) while sitting in my lowly coach seat on the plane, or after I finish attending my Utah Symphony Karen Carpenter Retrospective with my many important friends and family. Unfortunately, I just don’t have time right now.

I realize that while I’m gone, my evil, lurking nemesis (the malevolent being known as Scratch) will be continuing his five year jihad against me. Five years of relentless stalking. That’s a half a decade; a quarter of a score; a twentieth of a century; a whole boatload of hours, minutes, and seconds. Just thinking about Scratch makes me nostalgic for the gleaming, sharp, Nephite sword that my wife has hidden somewhere in our house.

This board might have merit is there was ever anything of substance written on it.

So I will not respond to your question. Is there some rule that I have to? Do you require this rule of all others? Besides, I save my substantive writing for other venues.
