Re: Introducing The John Adams Center!
The John Adams Center aims to burst the bubble of dogmatic secularism and enable people of faith and traditional morality to defend their views in the public sphere.

Re: Introducing The John Adams Center!
This is fascinating. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention, Mr. Stak. We've already seen the Mopologists beginning to retreat by way of different strategies. After devastating defeats over the Book of Mormon, the Book of Abraham, Lamanite DNA, and many, many other things, they first withdrew via the so-called "Gadianton Turn," and now it seems that they are attempting to establish a "bulwark" by turning to politics. I suppose it was only a matter of time before this happened. Quite interesting, in any case.
I wonder if they'll allow Droopy to participate in their conferences?
A sidenote: it's extremely interesting that they've provided a link to DCP's SHIELDS material in his bio.

I can't remember, did John Adams also appear to the Prophet, along with the rest of the Founding Fathers, to ask for his baptism and temple work to be done?
I detest my loose style and my libertine sentiments. I thank God, who has removed from my eyes the veil...

As I remember it, John Adams appeared and asked the Prophet if he'd tried his cousin Sam Adams' Oktoberfest seasonal brew yet, and give it his ringing endorsement.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Re: Introducing The John Adams Center!
LOL! WTF?
Sounds like typical 2nd tier Mopologist pride. Didn't the MI recently announce that it was preventing the deterioration of the world or something? And now the JAC pops up to enable people of faith to defend their views in the "public square." As if, prior to September of this year, defending their views in the public square wasn't an option for people of faith.
One thing I have to give the MI credit for, at least the main page quotes Neil A. Maxwell. The "founding thought" of the John Adam's Center quotes C.S. Lewis, of course.
Droopy ought to note this:
You ought to quote this to the MDD mods when they kill your political threads.
