Is it moral to stiff creditors while paying a full tithe?

Post by _DarkHelmet »

I'm not accusing anyone of doing this. As a hypothetical question, if you could not afford to pay your bills and your tithing, who do you pay? On the one hand you have a legal and moral obligation to pay your debts. On the other hand you have a church obligation to pay your tithing. You can't get a TR without paying tithing, but you also can't get a TR if you aren't honest in your dealings. So if you pay your tithing but stiff your creditors, what does that get you?

That's just a stupid question!

If you pay your tithing, the windows of heaven will be opened and you will somehow find you have enough to pay your other bills.

EVERYONE knows that!!

God is the primary mortage holder and if the tenth belongs to God, it wasn't available to any other creditors in the first place so there's not even a question of ethics here.

Of course. I forgot that. See what happens when you stop going to church. I forgot that plain and precious truth and allowed the wicked world to corrupt me with lies about math and finance. I stand corrected.

Yep, because nobody has had their income drop during these booming economic times.

The USA is god country primarily because they print all the money they need. Don't have enough? Print... I mean... pray more!
