I'm having flashbacks to that stretch of time where LifeOnaPlate thought it would be cute/amusing to call me "Ms. Scratch" as a form of insult. I guess DCP thinks that sort of thing is "funny," too.

He's really bizarrely fond of sophomoric insults. A big thing for people like him and pahoran is to take your name or username and turn it into something scatological. An odd pursuit for a PhD. Conversing with him gives me flashbacks to fifth grade.

Four possibilities:

1. Typo
2. Sexist insult
3. DCP has finally figured out who you are and you really are a woman and he's taunting you with this knowledge
4. DCP has finally figured out how to troll you

I'm kind of leaning towards 4. I think you just did exactly what Dan wanted you to do.

Is it a typo? Maybe. DCP tends to be very careful in terms of proofreading his posts, and I'm inclined to think that this was no accident. If it was, I hope he steps forward to clarify.

I don't know about that. I have seen him make typos before.
