I will interpret "by the LDS Church" to include acts perpetrated by its leaders, whether they would pass BC's definition of "official" or not.
10. Book of Abraham fiasco
9. Kirtland Safety Society
8. Danites
7. the Salt Sermon
6. Joseph's secret polygamy, and the deception it involved
5. introduction of the masonic elements to Mormon worship, ie: the death oaths, handshakes, etc.
4. massively exaggerated emphasis on things like masturbation
3. Brigham Young-era theocracy in Utah
2. prop 8 and similar crap
1. whitewashing history
These were listed not in any particular order. They're also just things I pulled off the top of my head, stopping when I got to 10. There are many more things that could have made the list.

Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Converting my ancestors so that i would be raised a Mormon
Teaching my children to praise the man who communed with Jehovah
Trying to pass off Missouri as the Garden of Eden

Saying God was the author of a racial or geographically racial discriminatory policy certainly was a big mistake.
Also not staying with the Mountain West Conference.

It's called the "passive triplet."

Ah man. You're serious. If I changed it from "evil" to "Problematic" and interpreted "LDS Church" to mean significantly associated with the church members, I would put things like:
MMM (probably #1 although I do not blame Brigham Young)
Polygamy in general
Denying the priesthood to people based on race--gender may become more problematic in the future too.
Book of Abraham translation
Unorthodox concept of God and godhood.
Proposition 8.

(If you were to be serious about this) Why the qualification about "things significantly associated with the church members" vs a straight-up "LDS Church"? All the extras in your above list should be on the table as responsibilities of the LDS Church. Don't tell me denying the priesthood was just a thing associated with some church members and not the LDS Church. Same for the Book of Abraham translation, the godhead, and polygamy. I think Prop 8 only passed because of LDS Church support, and the decision to support undoubtedly came from the highest levels. Maybe MMM could be qualified as you propose, but that's the only one where the "problematic of evil" is not fairly and squarely on the shoulders of the LDS Church.

Easy. I'm not ready to be excommunicated for apostasy just yet. That's also why I changed "evil" to "problematic". I'm not going to criticize the brethren, prophets, etc. unless I'm ready to apostatize. Also, while I see nothing "evil" in LDS theology, it is problematic to gaining converts.
