2011 was a stellar year for MAD. We continue to separate the wheat from the chaff and are proud to announce that our Moderators have permanently banned over 600 people (including well known troublemakers like Darth J, Ms Jack, Consig, LDSToronto and Ceeboo) from our board this year. We feel we can do even better in 2012.
SeattleGhostWriter continues to be one of our best contributors. This year alone, he was able to shut down “the board that shall not be named” for 2 days while simultaneously writing some of the best LDS-themed erotic fiction on the net. As always, MAD would like to encourage everyone to donate to his apologetic website so he can continue to spread the Gospel and write his saucy short stories.
Julian Reynolds also had a marvelous year in 2011. Julian almost succeeded in shutting down “the board that shall not be named” this year by creating fake internet memes and blaming “the board that shall not be named”. Julian was even able to convince some posters that she was not involved. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a little imagination and the help of the Lord. Rest assured, Julian has a couple of more tricks up her sleeve to take down the “board that shall not be named” in 2012.
Will Schryver has had a great year and also continues to be one of our best contributors. Unfortunately, Will was the victim of a smear campaign, yet once again at “the board that shall not be named”. Obviously, someone with Will’s spiritual and intellectual stature in the apologetic community is going to have enemies. One of his enemies had a grudge and fabricated evidence against our dear Will in a lame attempt to label him as a misogynist. Will respects women. We even received an email this morning from Will that states he “respected” all over the back of a woman last night. As always, Will continues to conduct ground breaking and game changing work on the Book of Abraham. He hopes to publish his work in 2012 and is currently shopping his article around. We’ve heard that his article has received some interest from a Chinese website that sells Viagra online. 2012 should be great year for Will.
Yahoo bot, Pahoran, Bill Hamblin, Wade England and Loran Blood continue to be our best missionary tools. Their kind, gentle and Christlike way they interact with people on our board and the internet is winning us many converts. We expect great things in 2012 from these gentlemen.
We have some great things in store for 2012. We will shortly be creating our own University to combat Cassius. We have secured enough funding to hire Droopy as our part time, and only, janitor/professor, and hope to have enough funding by the end of next year to actually get him a monitor and internet access. Julian Reynolds has a few more tricks up her sleeve and has created a special committee to find the identity of Dr. Scratch. Stay tuned.
Sure, 2011 has had its fair share of challenges. Michael Ash’s weekly article was pulled from the D-News, John Lund was arrested, Dallin H. Oaks came down hard on several MAD apologists, but one would have to be blind not to see the good we are accomplishing. Just look at the Christlike behavior and posts from our members. MAD is, and will continue to be, a mighty sword of righteousness in the defense of the truth.
Merry Christmas everybody and let’s make 2012 an even better year!
Signed,
The MAD Administrators

Christmas Letter From MAD
It's that time of year when many people receive their annual Christmas letters from family and friends. I thought I would share my Christmas letter that I just received from MAD:
"I'm on paid sabbatical from BYU in exchange for my promise to use this time to finish two books."

Surely an instant classic.
And since MD&D is not specifically named, and everyone knows that there is no such thing as a MADBoard, you have managed to retain credible deniability to a standard well recognized and respected within the Mopologetic community.
Brilliant.

Nightlion, the sad fact is that everything I wrote could easily be true.
