These guys seem to change their names regularly. Perhaps coinciding with a certain level of built up embarrassment and destroyed credibility.

Who can blame them for the change?

The Mormon Defense League name announced in August 2011, represented the old confrontational style when less light and knowledge was available to the world. The new Mormon Voices will present correctly obfuscated information to journalists when they make mistakes regarding the Church and its doctrines.

Good. The Mormon Defense League was a lame name. Reminded me of Marvel Comics and Harry Potter.

I rather liked MDL - the name parallels the Catholic League and Jewish Defense League which are very well known orgs that strongly fight anti- catholicism and anti- semitism repectively.

Mormon Voices sounds very, very weak and lame to me, and non-confrontational which is not the case for the CL and JDL.

The JDL has been relatively militant over the years. I would hope that Mormon youth receive their Uzi training from the Utah Militia (or some other gun crazy right-wing group) than the Church.

The saying that you can attract more flies with sugar than voluminous clouds of mustard gas should be considered when deciding upon the approach one takes in answering challenges.
