The LDS Church on Twitter. Is it official doctrine?

The LDS Church, @ldschurch Salt Lake City, UT, The Official Twitter Account for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons), http://new.LDS.org
Can we hold the LDS church doctrinally accountable to its Twitter feed a la Mr. BCSpace's criterion?

Indeed. Every tweet is official doctrine!

While it might have been tweeted by an official Church Tweetsman, there is no confirmation that the Correlation Committee tweeted right behind, "Yea verily yea".

When is a prophet tweeting as a prophet?
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

Can you tweet on a Sunday?
What if you tweet whilst naked, is that pornography?
Will the Holy Ghost tweet car key locations?

I can't believe the church made it to Twitter before they've enabled automatic withdrawal of tithing from peoples' checking accounts. I mean technology is great, but, you know, priorities.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
